FAIR Market Value

Unfortunately, I've come to the fork in the road where I gotta part ways with my baby. My best friend wants to buy it from me. I'm torn b/c I dont know how much to ask for it. I own the bike free and clear, so a loan payoff is not a factor. Its a 2004 with the Black/Silver paint. Has 6400 miles, a Jardine carbon fiber race pipe, micro blinkers, and an FE kit. Its got some minor scuffing on the side from being dropped in a parking lot. Quick poll...what do you think is fair value??? Thanks for the feedback!

KBB says 6500 and 6K miles isn't high enough to be too concerned about. The aftermarket parts you can just chock up as a loss - to be honest you don't have much invested in that dept. The scuffed bodywork drives the price down. Me personally, I think you ought to ask 6.

I agree. I think $5800-6000 is about right. The scuffs hurt the price a little, but I definitely wouldn't take lower than 5800. Good luck and sorry your situation has come to this.

Man, you can't sell!!!! It's the season. But, if you have to........

if your selling the bike to a real friend and seeing how your bike looks i'd sell it for between 5600 and 5800. if an acquantence i'd sell it for 5800-6000.

sorry to hear your selling it though, you never even got to experience the track with it yet. give it one chance on the track and you wouldn't sell, i'm pretty sure. So, you up for a track day???
