how expericened on fixing your bike?

just wondering how many actual mechanics are on this forum.

Just minor things right now.....really haven't had any major problems. After all...it's a Honda.

i've learnt to take things kinda slow at first... this is my first bike but this winter i had it all apart and now she's all back together with all the proper toque settings and lock tight screws/bolts

AND not 1 screw extra lol

The only help I got was with checking the valve clearances and the front forks. I do everything I can so I know it was do correctly. Like the old saying goes, "If you want it done right, do it yourself."

I'm a licensed auto mechanic, bikes are not that different.....a little tighter to work on sometimes, but the basics are the same

im with ya on that one... anything with the engine i wont mess with. that is just too indepth for me an i jsut wouldnt want to fvck something up
