2005-06 Inverted Forks...are they worth it?

I have a 2003 600RR that has the regular forks and the 2005-2006 have the inverted. Is it worth it to buy the inverted forks or just keep my stock forks and have them worked on?

I have an 05 and like them but i would imagine that it would be better to have your forks springed and adjusted for your size and weight.

I say just spend your money getting new valves and springs.. If you have the extra money go for it but I do see them on ebay... they are soo pricey..
