REPSOL Replica: TO BE, OR NOT TO BE???

I have an opportunity to have my bike painted the base colors of the Honda Repsol bikes, for FREE.....I really really like the look of them and dang sure like that it would be pretty unique on a 600rr. I just don't know if I want to do it for sure. All I would have to do is get all the decals. Let me hear your opinions.....

It's your bike, go for it! If I had the $$ I would of purchased the Repsol 1000RR last year. I personally like the paint scheme of it, so why not on a 600RR. I believe that one member here has the scheme on his bike.

I have never seen the Repsol scheme in person. I think 2 members actually have theirs done up in Repsol...not sure though. I just think it is a really sexy looking setup. I'd have to carry a club to beat off all the women...

For free, you better go ahead and do it. If I had that chance I would.

"For me, the problem is that big part of MotoGP riders now are pussies,"Rossi declared. "In the past, this is normal, the riders were more like real men. Now it is more like they are children."

It's your bike. You'll have to look at it. Do whatever will make you smile each time you lay eyes on it. If that's a Repsol paint job, then go for it. If it's the present colors, then leave it be.

I have 3 different sets of plastics for mine, so I never get tired of looking at it. I can't stand to have a bike that looks just like 500 other bikes. If you can have a set painted and put some decals on it, I'd do it and slowly aquire some more fairings on E___ with the money you save.

It only hurts while you're concious...

Please understand that the colors I am able to get are not the "EXACT" colors. But you probably won't be able to tell the difference....

The orange I have available will definately not be too dull. It is a little darker and I think it will look awesome. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do it now.....I will keep everyone posted on how things are going once I get things started.

if it's something you want done but are not sure about. buy a set of unpainted fairings from ebay or something if you like it, keep it and sell the old. if you dont like it, someone will. sell the repsol plastic to them.

IMHO it's not unique at all. People have beaten the 'repsol replica' look to death. But hey mang, if you dig it then go for it.
