06 or 07 600rr

I have an option to get a new 06 600rr add on a full TI Arata exhaust(for the same price as the 07) or get the 07 600rr and keep it stock for awhile.

Ofcourse the 07 will put out better times than the 06 if you have the same professional rider ride both bikes back to back.

For your average rider the improvements won't make much of a difference if any at all. Get what you think is prettier.

I was going to get the 07 so IMHO I will say 07. Only my opinions though ofcourse.

Also the 06 shouldn't cost you more than 8k OTD. That's what all the dealers around here are letting them go for since hte 07s are coming in.

The insiders are saying that the 07 is a major upgrade in performance. If you ride at the track, you may be kicking yourself if you purchase the 06 before you are able to read the reviews from the magazines once they've had it on the track.

If nobody ever died doing it, how much fun could it be?

"Of course the 07 will put out better times".... Where is your proof Tomimoto? I'll believe it when I see it. I mean, I've seen the bike already in person...but I want to see the data in terms of the independent testing after it is released. If it came down to looks, we know which one would take the true majority vote.

Personally I am looking to find a deal on an 05-06, or a REALLY good deal on a 03-04. However IF we get close to April and I haven't found this 'deal' that I am looking for I will then be getting an '07.

How about you quote my whole sentence.

It's simply newer technology. It's lighter, more powerful. Like I said if you have a professional rider ride an 06 and 07 with the same setups back to back he will more than likely put out better times on the 07 than the 06. I may just be a fraction of a second but more than likely he will do better.

Also if you read what I also said it won't make much of a difference to a normal every day rider.

Well, as far as performance, the newer bike will certainly outperform the current one that's about to be phased out. After all, no bike manufacturer steps backward when it comes to putting out performance.

If you care more about pure performance over looks, definitely wait for the 07.

its a no brainer, almost 20lbs lighter, and 3hp stronger, it already beat the full exhaust on the 06 with that alone.

No more mod listing, shits is STILL too long

03 600RR > 04 1000RR > 06 R6V > 05 600RR > 06 R1 > 09 1000RR > 10 RSV4R :gun:
