What makes you a serious rider?

Apparently we have a couple members here that think you have to like ALL bikes to be a serious rider!!!!!! They want you to approve and like what they like or your not a real rider. I wonder how many MotoGP riders like cruisers? They better or else they are not serious about riding!!!!! This is all like the joke of the month!!!!

p.s. Before the children come along with nothing but "you can't even spell" remarks....I already know......... so shut up.......noone cares.

Who cares what kind of bike you have, The only thing that matters is you love to ride. Now with that said a serious rider would be some one who cares about the sport. Which means they ride responsibly, wear their gear, and so on. It does not matter what bike you have, I happen to like sport bikes so thats what I ride, I don't bash Harely guys because thats what they like to ride.

You need to be banned

I yet to read all of your post but from what I see so far,you have yet to offer anything constructive to the board.

Why do the vendors want us to buy there stuff when they never have it in stock?
:book1: One thing leads to another and the next thing you know, your bike is a piece of neglected junk. :book1:

At least this post wasn't all caps, for ONCE. I have to agree that very little (if anything) constructive is EVER in his posts.

haha wow. I love to ride anything, I think that makes me serious about riding. but i grew up around a big variety of bikes. dad owned two Kawi street bikes when i was little (KX400 and a KX650 that he put a 800 motor in) grandfather has two goldwings, all of my dads friends ride Harleys or some sort of loud mean lookin bike, and my brothers and I have grown up ridin mini bikes and dirt bikes. still do infact...
I owned a 89 Kawi KX1100 before i bought the RR just for the record
but i still like street bikes the best. :)

so is that serious ?

I love to ride.......to hell with the rest.

"For me, the problem is that big part of MotoGP riders now are pussies,"Rossi declared. "In the past, this is normal, the riders were more like real men. Now it is more like they are children."

to me at least. A serious rider is NOT one how puts on a set amount of miles a year or the type of bike or gear they own. It's riding for their own personal enjoyment and not for anyone else's.

SERIOUS Rider? or passion...?

I guess one could very well be the other... But the thing that I think makes a difference is someone who knows bikes... not just someone who rides one.

You can ride one every day but never really know bikes.... Ya know?

When you REALLY know bikes it shows the love for the SPORT not just for riding ;) that's the difference.

"at 8k i often get the tire to slip a bit(kinda like stoner in motogp) when i start to get on the throttle"
