Yea, I heard Jay fire his up, after that I had to go change my drawers. So yea if I made super awesome money I definitely would buy one. I might never get it past 75/80 mph but the feel of having a frickin JET ENGINE between your legs would be enough.

If money were no object, I would buy a 2007 CBR 600RR. And that's what I'm getting.

If nobody ever died doing it, how much fun could it be?

i said no, and i HAVE SEEN jay's bike. im not hating, but its the same reason i wouldnt own a tomahawk; i cant use it!! i have a bike for the acceleration primarily and that bike doesnt have a jump on cars, it crawls and then hauls ass.. i think most of us would die. after taking it around the block, it would just sit there as some novelty item.

The brighter the picture, the darker the negative

I don't think I would then. Cause all of anything I bought would have to get used, and I mean used.

The bike may be able to hit 250 on a dyno but on the salt flats no. After a certain speed on a bike it hits a wall of air it can't push thru. I was watching a show on discovery about a turbo busa and he couldn't get past that wall and his rearend started to shake. Bikes suck aerodynamically.

Which would render that bike useless.

Give me a full leathers and a parachute, I'll take that for a spin.
Isn't it pushed by the thrusters not the wheels?

hahaha, all of you who said they wanted a desmo didnt think of this; i read to purchise a desmo, you have to be part of the Ducati family by owning any ducati for at least 5 years and own a 999. the desmo is like the Enzo to ferrari, ha, they dont just sell it to any shmuck with 1 million $$$. you have to prove your worthy of their prized car.

sooooooo, money allone cant get you a desmo. unless you buy it off some tard who sells it to you. but even then it would be used and good luck finding someone willing to sell their earned desmo.

hells ya id take the Y2K. most the people on here cant even ride their 600 to its fullest potential, so what makes you think you can use the Y2K any different. and trophies are cool, especialy rolling trophies

the only difference between suicide and killing yourself is whether or not you had fun while doing it. ( Me )

I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate.
And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it. ( Jack Handey )

I read that you only have to own a 999R in order to get a desmo. I think it would be hard for them to prove whether or not you have owned a ducati for 5 years. I see there reasoning behind it ,but I think it's stupid, because to buy a F1 car all you need is the money and a race license I believe. I watched a show on speed a long time ago when some rich guy bought schumi's v10 F1 car from ferrari. They gave him some spare parts and he got to bring 2 mechanics with him so ferrari could show them how to work on the car and he got to drive the car on ferrari's test track. They had to mold him a new seat for his fat ass too...lol.

2003 Black 600RR,Track , SOLD!! New track bike coming soon!!
