05/06 or 07: Which looks better?

Just curious what everyone thinks. We've been looking at pics of the 07 for a while and it got a lot of hate at first, but some people changed their minds. Which do you think looks better now (I suppose 03/04 is close enough to include it as 05/06)?

I would pick 05 because that is what I have, but I do also like the 07, but I really like the gold forks.

i like both bikes but the 05 06 i think looks better. i dont like how on the 07 the lowers expose most of the exhaustand i dont like the rear light situation. the thing i like most about the 07 is the new ram air setup is.

I like both about the same, if you combined the bikes you would have one superawesome bike and one super ugly bike.

The '07 still hasn't grown on me and it is butt ugly compared to the 03-06's. WE all liked the no hold barred build of a pure race machine with no compromise. Now we are paying for it by an ugly ass bike that looks like that ONLY to help top pro's shave a tenth off somewhere on a track. I would give up a tiny bit of aerodynamics for better looks as I am nowhere capable of seeing the differnce it would make.

Its so hard for me to decide from pictures alone. As of now I love the 05-06 styling, but if I saw an 07 in person that might change...

The only thing i like better about the '07 is that you can see more of the engine covers...other then that, the color schemes the tail, the way the side fairing look. the front cowl, i think were a turn in the wrong direction, they don't look as sporty i think.

It's a little unfair of a poll because you have a bunch of 05-06 owners who probably just got their bikes and don't want to think their bikes are obsolete. I liken it to XBOX360 owners who don't want to admit the PS3 is better. But I guess I'm partial to the 07 because the ram-air is reminiscent of an RC51 without the deer-in-headlight headlights. Ooh, I love the RC51...

I'm an 03 owner, so I've had it long enough where you realize it's long in the legs and needs a revision. Like how the BMW 5-series hadn't changed for so long and the interior was looking dated. It needs a revision. The 07 RR is the revision. And it's hot.

I don't particularly care for the look of air intake between the headlights. Other than that I like the 07 equally with the previous models. And I have my red/black 07 on order.

If nobody ever died doing it, how much fun could it be?

The new ones look too much like the R6's with the fairings all cut away and stuff. I like the engine covered, looks more aerodynamic and sleek.

i like the 05-06 better than 07

something about the "hole" in the middle of the front
and the way the front extends out, doesn't strike my fancy

its good lookin nonetheless, just not so much

Read the first note. I said it looks almost the same as the 05/06 so we can include it in that group. There are only marginal differences between the appearance of the bikes so there's no need to split them up.

personally i like the 03 duct set up better, without the little holes! and also the windshield meeting the 3rd eye is better than that gap in 05/06... i don't like the 07 at all with its beluga whale round face and naked sportbike fairings, kinda dissapointed, at least it's got Horsepower to make up for the pony looks!

definitely 05/06 for looks, but hands down for performance/ergonomic upgrages on the 07. i like the full fairing design of the 05/06's. i'm not liking the rear fender setup of the 07's it looks like there's not a clean solution for this like integrated tails on the 06's. i would go for the white 07RR if i had a chance tho. performance over looks is more important.
