i didn't vote b'coz there is no option that suits me, i have done my 600RR's first trackday last year (may28) & i have done another one this month (jan15), for sure i will do so again b'coz my friends have enjoyed their first track experience & wish to do it again..... very soon.

btw i'm not new to bike racing, i have prior track experience racing scooters & small displacement motorcycles.

I plan on making it the only place that I ride my bike.. I just cant deal with the worries of being hit by someone else, nor can I deal with my family, friends or GF worrying about me getting hit everytime I get on my bike..

I go regularly More than 3-6 times a year... I am no expert.

I will most definitely have to say that in NO way does 3-6 times
a year make anyone a track "expert".
Might want to rephrase that.

I go to the track quite a bit. I like to travel to ride sometimes. Did 3 days in Michigan at Grattan, 2 days in Utah at Miller, 1 day at Willow, & 1 day at Buttonwillow last year. +1 on not being a track expert. :)

Dang dude! That's some serious traveling right there..And here's me not wanting to go to Laguna cause it's too far, lol...It happens when you grow up on an island that takes a little over an hour and a half to drive around the whole thing.. :) If you go to Miller again...Can I hitch a ride lol...Please I'll pay for gas...lol

Track day addict here. Looking to do around 10 days at least this year. Buttonwillow, Infineon, Laguna, and Thunderhill.

I highly recommend that you try out the track if you have never been. After the first day it's really easy. The only problem with the first day is committing yourself. Once you get there and pass tech inspection, it's on!

Here's some reading material on trackdays: http://www.clubdesmo.com/nav/TrackDayRequirements.htm

I have gone and go every chance I get, so far only done 2 (second one produced the picture u see in my avatar). Sadly every time I get the chance is in between duty stations, and somehow they always are in a place I can't have a motorcycle... ie training, overseas, more training. **** PEOPLE, I just want my motorcycle and I am a happy camper. SO much that I willing to ride it 1800 miles down to Ft. Riley to have the motherfucker.

I've done 2 days at the end of last year and have 2 days scheduled so far in March at Miller Motorsport Park, and I plan on doing at about 6 track days this year.

The entire day is SOOOO much fun...the track...the people...the atmosphere...I'd love to get good enough to do some amateur racing, hopefully I can take the PenguinSchool course soon.

April 14-15 I'll be there with Keigwins (CA operator) running the full course. Any hints on gearing? I'm on a 750 now, but I run similiar gearing to my 600, maybe a little taller.

Also is there available power there for warmers, or do I need to haul a generator?

I think I was at the track about 15 times last year, including track days and schools. I'm planning on racing this year, so according to the schedules already up, I should be making somewhere between 20 & 25 days in '07. So... in answer to your question, addicted?=HELL yeah! expert?=no way!
