trade the 996 for the 749?

need your opinion guys. I am thinking of trading even for the ducati 749. That means I will be getting rid of the 996. I hear different opinions here and there.

I personally want to get the 749 so I have a smaller bike to take to track. My friends think I should just keep the 996 as i am still not used to the bike, and that I need more time. They think it's not going to make much of a difference.

So i need your opinion. Thanks!

Power is about the same, but the 996 has more torque. However, the 996 is heavier. The 749 is a bit newer, but I love the styling of the 996. I'd stick with the 996.

996 is a sick looking bike! I would stick with that over the 749...
