I haven't riden since April. The bike is just sitting in the garage. Of course, I am a few thousand miles away right now. I think about riding all the time.

i ride the bike about 1 mile across base everyday, rain or shine. but id rather be riding then fixing F-16s

It changes over time!

I remember YEARS ago when I first started riding, I wanted to ride every minute of every day! ALWAYS!

But after over a dozen years and a dozen bikes riding on the street wears off... I have also changed into more of loving the entire SPORT of motorcyles rather then just the riding side of it...

So I still think about bikes CONSTANTLY just not always about riding... (on the street anyway) but always wanting to get to the track! Or work on one of mine! :)

My wife calls me at work the other day and says she discovered the monthly statement for my '07 in the mail stack on the desk. From there she saw the price I actually paid for the bike (I told her, let's say a "few" thousand less). Well, she proceeds to tell me "I'm in the dog house". "Oh sh*t!" I think. Then the kicker, she tells me 2 things: 1. I better not complain next time she goes shopping (that's cool - she's a Cardiologist with "fat bank" and that's her money) 2. Then she drops the bombshell about the bike. She says for that price I better be on that bike every f*ckin day or she's selling it! I guess I can live with that. After 11 years of marriage, God I still love this woman!!!!
