My passenger pegs are in a drawer in my toolbox.

I'm currently looking into finding a 2nd bike that was actually designed with a passenger in mind.

I'll probably take off my pegs and replace the seat with a color-matched panel after i get my new bike. not saying i wouldn't put them back on for a motorcycle date or something, cause those are hella fun. i took a gal to a drive in last summer on my dad's shadow, and that was alright cause it has a full passenger seatback. i wouldn't make a habit out of it though, cause riding bitch on a sport bike is definitely not comfortable and it is pretty dangerous. although, i wouldn't completely cast off the idea. part of being a bachelor and having a crotch-rocket is impressing the babes with it.

anybody ever run the strip with a passenger? what did it do to your ET?

I am a solo rider since about a month into owning my 07 CBR.

I did give a ride to a chick (heavier than me, and I weighed about 160 at the time) even though it was illegal and at night. (I was on permit, and still am actually). needless to say, every time I would slow down or stop, her forward weight transfer wasn't good for the jewels......

Anyway, for that reason and not wanting to be responsible for someone's death or injury, I made sure I was a solo rider and completed that by taking the rear pegs off and getting a solo cowl towards the end of my season.

I even refused an okay chick asking for a ride one day while I was at the dairy queen near a local beach.... she even said she would pay 5$.........No F**IN Way.............

I would think that much of a weight difference would have a serious effect on such a light bike.

How is riding with a passenger more dangerous then riding by yourself? I hit the twisties with a girl and the bike felt even better then normal, but that was because I hadn't set up the suspension for my weight yet. Either way it doesn't make much of a difference unless you're giving rides to fat chicks.

oh yea, and Knightslugger that would be Option C

well, KS is bamf enough that would be the most appropriate option, but i suppose i should have added 'took my rear pegs off forever ago' for extra clarification purposes.

I've only had a passenger a couple times... two chicks on a bike gets too much attention. But I was smart, I chose a nice trophy piece for my ride ;)
