(Not so) Happy Mondays! Shade tree mechanics ruffle some feathers

The city council of Graham, NC, is getting complaints about some people working on their bikes in a neighborhood and test riding up and down the streets. The post does mention Harleys but nothing else that's really specific.

Noise aside, the council is considering taking action against working on bikes in a residential zone because, well, it's not zoned for that. I don't know where these guys are working on their machines but if it's for non-commercial purposes and they stay on their driveways or garages, the council I think, is about to overstep their boundaries.

That said, when you work on your own bike, or car, in your driveway, be courteous to neighbors - especially the ones that have complained before about noise and tearing through neighborhoods.
