Stunning 'blade, one of the best looking bikes you can buy IMO. No hate here, only admiration. The CBR DNA flows through the 600s and 1000s in my book!

You only go as fast as you twist the throttle.

Absolutely, those who are negative are probably just jealous! What have you got planned for it?

Honestly not really much. The guy before me has done a lot. pretty much everything that I would think about doing. Full 2-bros exhaust, PCV, Projector headlights, Quickshift linkage, Chaingaurd, frame sliders, Fender eliminator, Shaded tail ligh, blinkers, Shorty Pazzo Levers, PC'd pegs. Only thing I might do is get some different grips, just so I can say I did something. Its a Streetbike through and through so I don't go all crazy with mods.

Fireblades are my favorite bike of all time. Love the design of them, so no hate, only jealousy haha.

My '08 1000rr was a FANTASTIC bike, except for the oil burning. Honda wouldn't cover it. I haven't owned a Honda since. Even on the track, it was flawless. Honestly, really great bikes.

I heard the '08's were known for that issue. I'm really wanting to upgrade soon but I know I can't anytime soon.

Worked oilfield for a few years. They started stacking rigs earlier this year though, so I planned my out and moved downstream.

Just enjoying the f out of life, man. Still looking for the right girl, and trying to smash some personal goal in the meantime....

Thanks for asking.

You better post some pics of your newborn, Jake! Can't wait to see the mini-you.
