Heh, yeah. There's an Ural dealership in Arlington somewhere, though it could very well be bust by now, that sold Urals. I did a test ride on the 2wd sidecar model and it was, well, odd... But I love the concept.
As a side, my grandfather let me ride his mid-late 60s Izh Jupiter 2 way back when on dirt roads. Back then, I was so damn happy that he let me that I didn't even notice the sidecar. That is until I learned to ride without the training wheels.
How are the gears in that Junak? The Jupiter chewed through second and third so that you HAD to rev it out in first and knock it into fourth to come back to a near idle. By the time the tranny went to sh!ts it was way out of production and we couldn't find replacement parts anywhere so we just lived with it like that for some time.
