Looking for a good read

I've almost finished reading all the books I've had laying around the house and am looking for something new to read, preferably a series and am open to any suggestions that you all might have.

1990 NC30 stock for now but searching for parts and if you have any send me a pm as I might be interested.

Not really a big reader but I enjoyed reading the "a series of unfortunate events" series

Are we there yet?!

Since tary brought up Holmes, I'd add to the list The ABC Murders and And Then There Were None by Christie. I enjoyed both before I dove into the complete works of Holmes by Doyle.

about half way done with the complete works of Holmes and is enjoyable so thank you. Going to the bookstore tomorrow to get A confederacy of dunces, as well as The ABC murders.

Give a confederacy of dunces time......it takes awhile to build the mental images that make it so funny.......

LMK what you think!

it took me a second reading, about a year later to really get the humor.

Author was a genius......

will do, it sounds familiar and I do believe I have read it years ago but I am going to pick up a copy today and read it here in the near future.
