2005 600rr Repsol Replica (Amazing Bike!! Must See!!)

NEW PRICE - SEE BOTTOMWell the time has come. I’m very sad to see this bike go, however life / business needs require that I get rid of one of my bikes (I’ll be keeping my track 600rr, so I’ll still have some fun!!).

The bike is extremely nice, and receives compliments every time I’m out. It is one of a kind and very well done. (Much nicer than the 1000rr factory Repsol as this one has the full graphics kit)

It’s a 2005 600rr Repsol replica with 7,100 miles. The bike was painted/decaled by a shop that the dealer sent it out to. The graphics are laid over the paint and under the clear coat. The whole job was very professionally done. There are 2 flaws on the bike, that are hard to see. The bike was dropped while turning around (5 mph) by the previous owner. There were two light scratches/cracks but were repaired and painted over. You can see them only if you’re looking for them. Otherwise the bike is flawless, gorgeous, and runs extremely well.

As you can see in the pictures, the bike does not have the stock headlights, but rather the R6 projector mod with HID’s. I took apart the headlights of my bike and the R6 projectors, and fabricated them into the housings with HID’s (took about 40 hrs). In addition, I installed a delay module for the HID’s. It’s bad for the HID’s to ignite when you turn the key, and turn off then ignite again when you press the start button…so the delay module delays them from turning on so you have time to turn on the bike, then they ignite. (this is a big hit at bike night as people watch as you get on the bike, turn it on, no headlights….then they ignite and get bright as HID’s do. Always a good conversation starter about how great the headlights are. See the Youtube videos for reference). I also installed the Tripage 3rd eye / knight rider mod. This third eye changes from the static white LED to the knight rider effect. There’s a switch mounted inside the fairing to change the setting. The knight rider mod also has an adjustable speed setting.

Here’s a list of the mods and original cost to me:

Repsol Replica Paint and FULL graphics kit under the clear coat
Powder Coated Rims (the real Repsol hot orange, not dull 1000rr orange)
Solo seat cowl
R6 projector headlight mod ($300 for R6 Headlight, 40 hrs labor)
HID's ($180)

Resistor / Timer for the HID’s ($50 ish)
Tripage 3rd Eye / Knight Rider Combo ($75 ish)
Tripage Fender Eliminator ($35)
CRG Shorty Levers (black with red) ($180)
Rear reservoir relocate mod ($10, 1 hr labor)
Flush mount signals (front / rear)
Two Brothers Carbon Exhaust ($500)
New Pilot Power Tires (< 300 miles on them) ($350)
Scotts Steering Damper ($500)

Frame Sliders

The pics below were taken before the CRG levers and new tires were put on.

Here are some pics and links to youtube vids

http://youtube.com/watch?v=iWc6GqPiELM&feature=related

Price for the bike is $8,000. Will include the jacket and front/rear stands at this price!! It’s the official Joe Rocket size 44. The bike is located in the Chicago suburbs. Please ask if you have any questions. Some of the stock parts I have will also be included.

***NOTE***

Was only selling on the boards before, but just listed on Cycle Trader locally, and will be putting up on ebay within the next two weeks if it doesn't sell through cycle trader. Just had a deal fall through, so I'm pursuing selling this again.
I understand mods are only valuable to those who want them. So that being said, if you would like me to remove some mods I will do so to lower the price of the bike.

Remove Steering Damper ($200 less)
Remove Two Brothers exhaust and put on stock ($200 less)
Remove CRG levers and put on stock ($100 less)

Pete
You better not just give it away bro the buyer must be an RR lover
it would be shame to sell it and hear it got trashed month later

Haha....I agree.

Maybe I should check they have gear first, and maybe run a background and driving record check to ensure its going into good hands!!

If this is still available in a while, though I doubt it, i'll take her off your hands mate.

Just bought a new truck yesterday, so I need to wait a teensy bit more.

Well if you're in PA, at least now you have a truck to come pick her up in!! Might even be doing a trackday in IN next month so might be able to bring her closer to you, if she's still around.

Economy's not so hot right now, but high mpg vehicles are still doing ok, so we'll see.

Yeah, I actually bought the truck FOR the bike I choose to buy. :icon_lol:

Maybe I spend too much money lol. I now have everything a person could need, including tire warmers for my first track day, and haven't bought a bloody bike yet :icon_lol:

Just got to raise the cash now.

This bike looks really well cared for. My bike would be jealous if it saw how clean yours is. Good luck with the sell.
