WTT 05 GSXR1000 drag bike, worth a shot right :)

Hey guys, been a while since I have been here but I am looking to get out of drag racing again and start hitting track days since I moved back to Tx and there are tracks EVERYWHERE here. I am interested in trading for a 600rr because I was always more comfortable on that vice all the other bikes I have owned when I used to go to the parkway and the gap when I lived in NC.

If anyone has any interest, let me know. I would prefer an 07 but 05/06 could work as well. Could do an even trade for the right 600.

Bike is clean and clear title in hand, never wrecked, never laid down off the kickstand, nothing. Only marks on it are the bottom of the rear fairing, they touch for a second when you launch so they have scrapes on the bottom. No dents, dings, nothing. I have EVERY stock part for the bike as well from swingarm to mirrors.

Let me know if there is any interest. I don't have a truck at the moment and my car wouldn't be too happy towing this thing too far so delivery is touchy but if someone has something I want and vice versa, I am sure we can work something out.

Geared 15/44
MPS auto shifter
TiForce high mount exhaust
Power Commander
Shinko 003 front and rear tires.
Frame sliders
Puig smoke double bubble screen
Mirror block offs
Lowered front and rear
Schnitz front strap and brackets
Cut kick stand
Thompson Cycle 10 over arm underbraced with air in arm and nitrous bottle bracket.
EK ZVX2 chain.
Cycle concepts drag pack clutch
Brocks heavy clutch springs
R1 1/5 turn throttle

Not installed, NX 2.5 lb bottle, Zex WOT and window switches, all that is needed is a line and solenoids and you can have nitrous as well.

Bike consistently runs 9.60's at 144 with me on it and I weigh 210 in leathers so with a smaller rider it would fly. The clutch mod has been done to stop the jerky starts the 05/06 1000's were known for as well and it cuts low 1.50 60 foot times with my heavy a$$ on it as well.

If I can't find something I like I am just going to shorten this back up and do some suspension work and ride it BUT I would prefer a 600 for the track.

Hahaha, she's not scary man, just a little mind numbing for the first 300 ft on a prepped track if you aren't used to it :)

Out of all the bikes I've owned man, the 600rr was my favorite to just ride. I LOVED that thing but common sense and the desire to keep my license made me jump to a 1k and start drag racing after so many years of 600's and back road riding. I live close to quite a few tracks now though and really want to get back into it.

I haven't been down there yet. The broken frames were a result of violent landings from wheelies or head on collisions neither of which this bike has had and if I do have a head on, I will have more important things to worry about than a broken frame lol.

I could have it done for the potential owner or they could have it done themselves as it's just on the bike, they don't care who has it. I personally won't be doing it if I keep it though.
