2005 Ducati 749

Here is the deal. I loved my 06 600rr to death!!!!! I was forced to part with my beauty after i had a highside at Texas World Speedway on september 27.

RIP :(

Since september i have purchased and sold a 2008 R1 raven and a 2009 R6 searching for another suitable bike. I currently have this 05 749 that i thought would be "the bike" but i have decided that its not my kind of bike. I NEED A CBR!!!! I purchased the bike while it was bone a$$ stock and have modified it with very tasteful mods for the track. The bike has 9500 miles. As it sits currently here are the mods
Armour bodies bodywork 650$
professional painted bodywork 700$
Penske double clicker shock 170lbs 800$
Woodcraft Rearsets (black) 290$
Mono subframe 300$
Forks Revalved and resprung along with seals and fluid, fork tubes were polished (170lbs) 400$
Pilot Race PRC front and PRD rear (three track day sessions) 300$
Termi Slip on (not pictured) 1000$
520 chain kit DID chain AFM sprockets +2 in the rear 250$

As you can see they are all tasteful and useful mods for the track. I do have 99% of stock stuff available except the mids because i sold them. This is negotiable but as of right now im advertising the bike as it sits! HERE IS WHAT I WANT... I WANT YOUR CBR. Dont send me a pm asking me if im interested in your 03 stock bike or any stock bike for that matter. i want only the current generation or an 06 that was comparable to my old bike. you must have mods comparable to my bike so that if i decide to do a deal i can take it strait to the track! My bike is paid for and i have title in my hands( i did not put it in my name as its just been a track bike and never saw the road since i had it) If thats a problem i will put it in my name and then we can do the deal. but i do have the title.

These two pictures are just after the bodywork was brought back from the painter but no other mods. The next two are from my trackday last weak with all the mods except the termignoni slip on

Email me if your interested as its quicker for me to reply.

It looks like you're looking more for a track bike.... why wouldn't you want my little "cheater" 600 over a CBR?? CLICK HERE!

and... I can't for the life of me figure out why you would get rid of the R1 for any 600??

Im only interested in a CBR sorry. Also im not sure if you have actually ridden around a track on a 1000cc bike but it is way harder to go faster on one of those puppies. I felt like a ran a marathon after a couple of sessions on it and i was several seconds slower on it than my 600rr. It was a beauty but i need something that im comfortable with and fast with.

I am located in San Antonio Texas.

From my understanding you are willing to convert your bike back to street and trade for my street cbr600rr and then part out your parts to convert mine to track for your use???? Meet half way between Texas and Florida? [= *wishful thinking*

At this point i dont want to convert back to street nor do i want to do another track conversion from a stock bike. Right now i want someone that has the mods done to their bike already and all i would have to do is take it to the track and go

Bump. Anyone interested in just buying it? I could put it back to stock or you can keep it track worthy. Price would vary depending on what you would want with the bike.

7000 as the bike sits now. If you want the stock plastics add another grand to that. that includes all stock parts to make it look like it just came from the dealer.
