wait wait, is the title considered salvaged? or is it just a mess with a clean title?

Never argue with stupid people. They will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience
Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

there is nothing negitive about the title....why would there be??? it was not wrecked just stolen and then recovered 125 mile away and i went and got it back....cost me 132.20 in stupid wrecker fees to the city but thats all....its not a mess....just not as sexy as she was befor....got new ignition, gas cap, rear seat locks with matching key...not gonna repaint or replace the little rash on the left mid and a bit over the left headlight....runs as good as ever...only 4500 miles and been maintained....but since i already went and a 09 i want to sell the 07 cheap....5500 and i ship is a hell of a deal for a track bike project or a everyday rider....

Just to save any potential buyers some time...
I was previously interested in acquiring this bike and attempted to find as much details as possible regarding its history (pre and post theft).

The following facts (post theft) should be noted:
- Bike's paint scheme was originally Red/Black. When recovered, it was found black as shown.
- HID head lights and integrated tail light was removed.
- Ignition was damaged.
- License plate removed mounted to battery.

And last but not least, as stated by the seller, it was "broke in the right way... this bike was babied the first 600 or so miles. then was just regular daily driver."

Most of these facts I had to bring up. They were not disclosed upfront, so for that reason I'm passing up this offer.
I apologize if I had to bring up the "obvious." I'm not a spider bot and I don't patrol every single thread possible.

Good luck to DISCO600 and hopefully someone puts this Cinderella back on track soon!

yea WAS RED AND BLACK....now its black just like the pic????
yea it HAD HID's but were removed by the thief but DOES have working headlights???????
what does it matter what it "had" on it???? isnt whats on it NOW whats relevant? guess im wrong to assume it had headlights like in the pics?

WELL HELL YEA THE IGNITION WAS DAMAGED!!! it was stolen...not like i gave them a key....but has a new set of matching locks NOW...ignition/gas/seat. all the same key

noooooooooo the plate was mounted to the underside of the battery tray....NOT THE BATTERY...

never thought selling a bike on here would require suck kid glove tactics????? imagine if i was to give it away?????

Why all the negativity towards the seller or the condition of his bike
if you are interested pm him and make the deal if not move on
he is not begging for a buyer for heavens sake best of luck man

If it doesn't challange you it won't change you

There was no negativity towards the seller or the condition of the bike. If you think there was any, I really don't know what to say to you.
I was just stating information I learned while I was interested in purchasing the bike from the OP. I wouldn't be posting if I wasn't interested.

If posting relevant information that may help potential buyers is against your policies then I apologize. I thought that was the basis of a forum.
Anyway, as I said previously.. good luck with the sale.
