2003 600rr

Hey guys, I am planning on selling my 2003 600RR I have owned it for the last 2 years and had a blast. It has a rebuilt title from the last owner who bought it from a salvage yard. All the repairs necessary repairs were made and the bike has been inspected by the state and issued a rebuilt title. I did a lot of work this winter, upgraded to 2005-06 fairings from MJ, the fairings look amazing. I also added woodcraft frame sliders, pazzo short clutch and brake levers, powder coated rearsets and passenger peds and had tristan inetegrated turn signals into them. Peter hooked me up with a Hamaguchi Full TI exhaust system which comes with a PCIII and custom map already installed. I am probably forgetting some more things but thats off the top of my head for now. Milege is currently under 6K I believe its 58xx miles give or take I am asking $6000obo for this set up.

I believe thst your asking price is a little high. I would recommend parting out the exhaust and maybe levers. your bike is clean, but not more than $5k IMHO.
good luck with sale!

i think 4800 is good. even though it's a rebuilt title the thing has been hardly driven at all, only 5800 miles. wow.

what do i know though. My bike is a rebuilt title bike too.

I think $5k is reasonable.. it has 05-06 forks, brakes, clean bike, all that jazz. Nobody has the money though sadly. Good luck.

Squid test:

So far, 13109 people (including you) have responded to this Squid Test Survey and have been tabulated.
Of those responses, the average grade is 53. Your grade was 82 (from 0 to 100)

A higher grade indicates a stronger sense of common decency, and a lower grade is an indication of conspicuous squidliness and general disregard for civilized society. Your score indicates that you are a fairly responsible motorcyclist but a bit of a wise-ass.

Hahaha.

the price it seems high for a salvaged title is it a salvaged rebuilt title as you have it licensed correct! 4500 would def be resonable but considering your mods you should not budge to much unfortunatley you can pick up some nice salvaged bikes for ruffly 3 to 4 grand hell i picked mine up for 2500 so GL with the sale i think your price is reasonable but the title will scare people away!

The min I would let it go for is $4400, I've had offers for $4K I am not desperate to sell it but if I get my asking price I'll let it go..

so is this an 03-04 or 05-06. lots of the body work and such i doni't think would fit on an 03-04 but i could be wrong. i know u said u upgraded the bodywork but did u do everything else also like the forks, swingarm, rear pegs and such?

The frame, swingarm, and motor are 2003. The subframe, forks, passenger pegs, complete air ram conversion are 2005, I bought the fairings from MJ. I was planning on swapping swingarms to 05-06 and powder coat it black but I have other plans so thats why I am selling. If the title wasn't rebuilt I am sure it'd sell in a hearbeat. Have potential buyer but I am leaving it up on the forum until its sold..

I have an interesting question:

Did you use an 03 or 06 exhaust? did you use an 03 or 06 subframe? If yes, Did the 06 tail mount right up to the 03?

Im wondering if I can put a 06 subframe on my bike and it be compatible with my 04 plastics... and exhaust reasons... any info would be rad

sorry for the threadjack, and congrats with the sale
