2005 CBR 600RR for sale or trade.

Due to a crappy California Law, I can not register this bike. I am going to sell it or trade it. That being said, let me know what you have. here are the details on the bike for sale or trade.

Long story short...... I bought this bike from a guy off of Ebay here in California, turns out the bike is a 49 state bike and can not be registered here in California because it has less than 7500 miles. I tried to get around it but it's just not going to happen. It's a 2005 Honda CBR 600RR , with 5386 miles on it, it's very clean and has been well taken care of, the only issue with the bike is the previous owner dropped it at some point and scuffed the clutch cover and the tail, there is also a small scrape on the front fairing by the right side mirror, the scrapes are very minor and you can barely tell they are there unless you are very close up. The bike has few minor mods to it, everything has been tastefully done.

-Flush mount front turn signals.

-Integrated rear turn signals.

-Fender Eliminator

-Frame Sliders

-Swing Arm Sliders

-Smoked Wind Screen

-LED Under Glow Kit

-Gorilla Alarm

The price is 4500.00 FIRM. I just need this thing gone, California Laws suck! I live in Orange County Ca, Vegas is not that far away from me so I am willing to meet up half way to help make this as easy as possible. I am also wiling to trade, if you have a an equivalent bike with at least 7500 miles, that's in good shape let me know. Any questions please feel free to ask. Thanks for looking!

I had the same problem once. There is a solution! Either put on the extra miles by riding it or do what I did and trade tachs with someone else. It's a win win situation for both parties. Good luck!

Usually this would work, but apparently the previous owner sold the bike to someone and they took it to the DMV not knowing the law and the DMV flagged the bike so it could never be registered in Cali.
We never knew that it was sold once before.

I didn't know about the California law until someone told me when I posted my bike on Craigslist. I have a 49 state 600rr, but luckily I had title and registration in the other state under my name and was able to register in California. Good luck with everything.

Let me know if you will sell it at a reduced price without the plastics, headlights or rear footpegs.

Oh that's terrible. When I bought my bike out of state I sort of read through the all the policies on vehicle transfer in advance. That's a bummer. Good luck brother!

I found a guy in LV that will trade me for his 04 GSXR and it is a clean bike with over 7500 miles, so if I dont sell it in 30 days, I will probably trade him straight up.

I will trade bike for bike, if only our locations were closer. I'm in Nashville!
