NEW 2005 600RR Complete Stock Body Work Set -Black *Will fit 03-04!

Up for sale is my brand new body work from my '05 600RR in black- no tribal flames. ***Note -fits '03-04 models as well with minimum work! Visit www.catalystracingcomposites.com The 600RR in the '05 Race-Only section is actually an '04 that has the '05 bodywork fitted to it. I was told there is only one bracket needed to secure the lower that consists of a piece of flat steel or aluminum with two holes in it and no bends!
I bought the bike to go race supersport and then discovered how freakin expensive the aftermarket stuff is, so I need to sell the stock stuff, as much as I don't want to, in order to pay for the race body work.
You will get everything -The upper, lower, fender, tank cover, tail section and snorkels. New this stuff would cost you somewhere in the mid 3K range. I am asking $1800. If you dropped your new baby and insurance is picking up the tab you can pocket a few bucks by buying my stuff. And even if insurance isn't, you'll still save a ton over the retail pricing.
But please do not low-ball me as I have already seen the same set go for 2K on ebay and the sale was successful (i emailed the seller to make sure he wasn't frauded). I will also accept paypal. If you are coming to pick it up directly from me, cash only.
Now, if you are a retailer of some sort I will consider a trade between 1K in cash and the rest in merchandise, tires, parts, etc. Afterall, these are all items I need this season.
I have plenty of pictures so just email me at [email protected] if you are interested. Or IM me at race4theflag
you can also see a picture of the bike on the day I picked it up by going to my website at www.teamsampsonracing.com

Price changed to $1800.00 That's a heck of a deal if you ask me. It retails for twice that.

light house: yeah, I went to spain for about 10 days and rented a bmw adventure for the whole time since that was the best I could get that would haul my gear around. I wanted a KTM Adneture or a Ducati ST4 but couldn't get either of them. But the trip was by far one of the best I've taken yet. Hopefully next year I am going to make it to the Isle of Mann and you can rent gsxr 1000's and other performance oriented bikes out of the UK which should be really cool. And I'll speed all over their country. Screw them and their speed cameras. I also would like to go to Australia for the phillip island round one of these years and do the same. Then of course there are all the KTM and Ducati tours through austria and itlay, something else I really want to do. I also had a customer come back from thailand and he told me he rented a hayabusa over there and had a blast since there aren't any speed limits on many of the roads. Coincidentally they offered him a 14 year old boy as well.

Tiny, are your sharskins for an '03-04 or for '05? My bike is an '05 and the other years will not work. I would trade you for your stock body work plus some cash or other parts that you don't need if you're interested. Let me know.

1800 is too much for "used" parts. You can get that same price from Service Honda (or pretty close to it.)

Used? the bike just came off the showroom floor. ???? If you're trying to make the point that bikes devalue once you take them out of the dealer, well, then sure, you're right. But this is not the case here, especially when aftermarket body work is about 1100.00 so in my opinion, I am not asking too much. Especially when i saw a set sell for 2K already. If you crashed your bike, there is limited availability of stock plastics for an '05.
To order these same parts from a honda dealer is well over 2K and you have to pay tax on top of that. And nevermind the fact that having them all in stock (at the warehouse) is quite unlikely. Something will be back ordered if they are even available in the 1st place.

Probably better off trying eBay. I haven't seen a set of plastics sell for that much on the board before.

1800 sounds alright, but all i need is the right side of the plastics and the front plus the tail, so how much for those, and im serious too, my friend just thrashed my new bike. so on the right side, its the right fairing, front plastic, lower cowl plastic and the rear cowl plastic, if you include the front fender as well how much for all these parts please email me or pm me with the price
