F/s, oh, 2002 cbr954rr **low miles**

Up for sale is my '02 CBR954RR with 7,8XX original miles.
I bought the bike with around 4k miles about 5 or 6 years ago from the original owner. It's been a great bike, but I dont really ride it much and I think I want to get back into another Ducati Monster, so its time for this guy to find a new home.
I'm asking $4,600 OBO.

The good:
Paint - super clean and original
Fully adjustable brake and clutch levers
Fully adjustable rearsets
Frame sliders and swingarm sliders
Akropovic slipon
Double-bubble windscreen
Flush mount signals
Integrated tail light
3M Stomp-grip pads
New BT016 tires with less than 500 miles, installed last year.
Plenty of life left in brakes and chain.

The bad:
Small chip in paint on the air vent covers.
Small blemish where overflow tube belched on plastic.
Scratch in VIN sticker
Small nick on left fork cap (outer edge of blue anodized nut)

Backstory for the paint:
I know people get nervous seeing aftermarket paint, including myself, so here is the backstory.
I put this bike up for sale about 2 or 3 years ago and it was stolen by a guy who paid me with a fraudulent cashiers check. The bike was recovered a few months later. The thieves had replaced most of the plastic bodywork with pieces from other bikes of various color and had sprayed the side and front fairings rattle-can black. They also replaced my micron pipe with a D&D pipe that I found to be obnoxious.

I bought all new plastics and had them painted along with the original gas tank and air vent covers. I bought a new Akropovic exhaust and put that on at the same time. This was all done about 2 years ago.

Other than that whole episode the bike has not had any work done to it besides regular maintenance. It's in great shape, its super clean, and the miles are super low. I'm happy to answer any questions.
You can PM me through here, or you can call me at 440-seven-four-nine-6613. My name's Steve. I'm available from around 7p-10p during the week and about 8a-10p on weekends.

Thanks for looking!

When did you last clean the brake rotor buttons?

I'm just messin'. Good luck with the sale! Beautiful bike! That backstory sucks, but I'm glad you were able to get it back.
