2003 Kawasaki ZX-6R, would make a great trackbike - Sale Pending

Yep, getting rid of it.

2003 Kawasaki ZX-6R, red, 15,000 some-odd miles
Salvage title

-Frame is straight, but dinged where the bar end smacked into the frame

-Radiator's bent

-Tank is good except for a quarter sized dent on the left side

-Missing upper fairing and headlight, but air intake and upper fairing stay are brand new and present

-Left peg broken off, right peg bracket needs replacement but the peg is fine

-Left frame slider is bent, the motor mount will need to be replaced

-Original gauges

-Right mid fairing only with scratches, left one was destroyed

-Tail is perfect, with passenger seat and pegs

-Leo Vince titanium slip on, can has one dent at the bracket

-39 Renthal sprocket, galfer SS rear line

-Smog crap has been removed

$2200 obo, pictures on request

Currently registered through DMV until March of 2006. The bike runs well, I've had it for about 7 months now, no problems with it. Don't have time or money to rebuild it at this time. It would make a perfect track bike or stunt bike.

Message me here if you're interested.

Schwing,

Does it still run good and ride straight? I'm interested if it's working, I need a street bike, thanks for any info.

It runs well and does ride straight. I would definitely give it some TLC like an oil change and a tune-up, it hasn't been ridden regularly in six or seven months, although I start it up weekly and take it around the block.

Hey Schwing did you crash it or did the previous owner? Does the radiator leak coolant? Was it crashed hard (i.e. lowsided, highsided, stunting).Any other leaks like oil or fork seals? Check your pm's

Radiator does NOT leak, and I did not wreck it. The guy I bought it from told me that he sideswiped a car and lowsided it.

Forks are STRAIGHT and do not leak.

And I would be that friend...

I'm definitely interested. Quick question, is the reason for the salvage title because of the sideswipe with the car? And what's the condition of the engine? Any work done to it? Thanks
