2008 Husqvarna SM510R + some extras - MA

This is my 2008 Husqvarna SM510R Supermoto ( SMR510 supermotard ). It has 3,1xx miles on it. I have a clear title in hand. I am the second owner. The previous owner was a mechanic and took good care of it as well. It has been garage kept and has never been down. It has an authorized dealer installed factory power-up kit on it (details in the modifications section below). It does have some cosmetic scratches but nothing major plus plastics are cheap for this bike if you wanted to change the colors up. I bought it in the fall of 2011 and haven't had much time to ride it. I've changed the oil and oil filter every 500 miles as well as at the beginning of each season. I put the battery on a battery tender from time to time to keep it fully charged. I check the valves every other oil change. Checking the valves on this bike is pretty easy. I also just changed the air filter and put on a new set of Bridgestone Battlax BT-016 tires in 2013 (still have nubs on them). This is by far the funnest bike I have ever owned. It's fuel injected and has 6 speeds. It's basically a street legal large displacement (501cc) dirt bike so it's fast (60hp), torquey (36 ft-lb), light (260 lb dry) and a blast to rip around on.

You won't see many of these bikes in this area due to the small amount of Authorized Husqvarna dealers in the New England area (1 in MA, 2 in CT & 1 in NH) but parts are readily available online from a number of websites like Hall's Cycles ( http://www.halls-cycles.com/default.asp?page=catalogs ). I do have a valve shim kit, a mostly full case of the recommended AGIP Racing 4T Full Synthetic 10W-60 oil from the owners manual, a couple oil filters, 2 keys, a can of air filter oil, an electronic copy of the owners manual as well as an electronic copy of the maintenance manual and a Zefal Spy mirror (small bar mounted bicycle mirror) which i took off when I put on the mirrors shown in the photos. I will include these items at this price. The reason I'm selling it is, this is my second motorcycle (I have another street legal small displacement dual purpose bike) and I've began looking for a cruiser/standard bike with bags and a windshield to commute to/from work. While I'm in no rush to sell this bike as I have enough storage space to keep this bike and 2 others I would rather not maintain 3 bikes as I don't really have the time. It needs nothing aside from maybe a graphics kit if you like stickers (I know of a few sites that sell decal kits for this bike).

$5,300 for 600RR.net members, $5,500 on CL. Will not ship. Bike is located in South Coast Massachusetts area. Serious buyers only please. No trades.

Here is a video the bike:

See bike specifications here:

Extras to go with bike at this price (see photos):
-Hot Cams Valve Shim Kit
-Mostly full case of the recommended AGIP Racing 4T Full Synthetic 10W-60 from the owners manual (approx. 8.75L, bike takes ~1.7L per oil/filter change = 5 oil/filter changes)
-5 extra oil filters
-1 extra ignition key
-A can of Twin Air air filter oil
-A 3/4 full bottle of motorcycle coolant
-2 extra oil cartridge filter gaskets
-2 different o-rings for the oil screens
-A extra head cover gasket
-An electronic copy of the owners manual
-An electronic copy of the maintenance manual
-A Zefal Spy mirror (small bar mounted bicycle mirror) which i took off when I put on the mirrors shown in the photos
-A Motorsport Products triangle stand (shown in photo with bike)

Modifications done by previous owner:
-Factory Power Up Kit (these modifications put the bike's computer into race mode...Arrow slip on exhaust, throttle stop plate removed, removal of lambda sensor from mid exhaust pipe and replaced with lambda sensor plug and gasket, added lambda sensor connector where lambda sensor wire was connected, removed intake silencer and added high flow air filter cage)
-HID Headlight Kit connected to stock headlight switch
-Supermoto Engineering Front & Rear Axle Sliders
-Advanced Performance Accessories Exhaust Slider
-Edge 2 Tail Light/License Plate Light
-DRC Products Type 601 LED Front & Rear Smoked Turn Signals
-Zeta Armor X1 Hand Guards
-Destickered Tank Cowl and Rear Cowl

Modifications done by me:
-New Front and Rear Bridgestone Battlax BT-016 Tires (installed 2013, still have nubs)
-Sheet Aluminum License Plate Bracket
-Gas Cap Vent Tube
-Koso Mirrors
-Rear Passenger Pegs
-Suicide Kickstand Mod (cut off little nub that makes the kickstand want to spring up fast and possibly fall over if you bump the bike)
-Fuel Pump Slip Mod (just an extra zip tie around the fuel pump so it doesn't slip out of the housing and make you run out of gas early)

Lovely bike indeed I bet its a blast to track it you should be able to find her a lovely home soon you are not giving up riding are you ? regardless of your decision I wish you nothing but best of luck you should consider shipping with buyer paying for it of course it's really not that hard or expensive to arrange it I did it with my 675R from the dealer in OK to Fl cost me 600.00

If it doesn't challange you it won't change you
Only two ways to live life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.
