I'm sorry to do this, but my bike is just burning a hole in my pocket right now. I started grad school last semester and simply can't afford to keep her right now. Here's all her info:
2003 CBR 600rr
Red with painted lower to match
Painted black windscreen
Removed turn signals - Included in sale if you want them (not req'd in TN or NC)
Removed fender with homemade eliminator
New synthetic oil with PureOne filter about 1000 miles ago
Removed passenger pegs - Also Included
Clear title in hand, ready to be signed over
The bike was laid down at 10mph by the first owner (I am the 2nd owner) so there are a few nics here and there and about 3-4 inches of rash on the tail. The nose was a little busted up when I purchased the bike but I have since fixed everything except for a little paint on the few scratches. From 10 feet you can't tell she's been down.
She rides wonderfully for my scant 155lbs frame. I spent a few days at the gap (Deal's Gap in East TN) tuning the suspension and never got it perfect, but it's close, at least for my riding style. The rear tire is gone while the front has another 500 miles easily. The bike was never abused, no burn outs, wheelies, etc. All I do is ride the gap, and I'm not even that quick through there.
KBB Value is $6040 with an average mileage of 10,500. My price is $5500 obo.
I have put links to a few pics but if anyone would like a more detailed pic of a specific area I can accomodate that request within a day or two of receiving it. PM or email me with questions. One more thing: when changing the light bulbs a while back, I misplaced the bulb adapter for the high beam, so there is a functional low-beam, but no high beam currently. I can't imagine that piece being more than $20 from ron ayers or your honda dealer.
