'04 Duc 749S Breil Replica - Lower Price: $8K!!!

2004 ducati 749s breil replica

- $8,000 obo
- approximately 2,500 miles
- custom painted black with breil graphics - i'd say 7/10 on the paint
- evoluzione fender eliminator
- mad duc clutch basket & spring caps
- spyder grips
- registration JUST renewed

- theft recovery salvage, so the "damage" was only VERY minor scuffs to the bodywork that were sanded and painted over. i have pics of the original "damage." runs/rides FANTASTIC!
- this bike will cost you $15K+ OTD at a stealership, own the dream for much, much less.
- selling because i have too many toys. i've only put 100 miles on this bike in the last 6 months. was inspected by del amo motorsports.
- local pickup only, payment to be in the form of a cashier's check.

for actual pics, clicky: http://www.kodakgallery.com/Slidesho...e&conn_speed=1

the attached pic is the real factory racebike.

lol. come over to the dark, sexy, italian side, young nemesis.

the price is OBO, but i just put it on the market today, and i haven't even put any real pics up yet. i'll take some tomorrow.

i've gotta dig the thing out of the back of my garage, blow the dust off, and take some pics in the sunshine.

I need to ride a Duc man, se eif ill instantly be in love and say bye bye to Hondas, cause i really dont need to go that fast, besides i spank all them fools onthe twisties anyway.

lol. thanks for putting the teaser pic in, moe.

snik, yeah, there were little scratches on several of the panels, the bar ends, levers, etc., and the missing mirror. if the adjuster were looking to replace those pieces with stealership items, it would have easily been $8K+. a full set of bodywork alone is $7K!

but wow the scratches were minor. i had worse damage tipping over my R6 in a parking lot!

feels gruntier in the twisties w/ the torque. i've never tracked this one, so dunno how it will be on the top end on a long straight. i prefer the power delivery to the RR, actually. harder to ride than a jap inline 4. takes more commitment in turns, but ultimately rewards you more. hard to explain.

sounds awesome, and has so many sick bits on it stock (damper, brembos, TiN shocks, marchesini wheels, lap timer, voltmeter, security, multi-position rearsets/seat/tank, etc.etc.etc.).

most importantly, chicks diggit much more than my RR, which is really reason enough to love it. :) even when you don't have it, you can wear ducati clothing around and not be a poser. chicks dig ducati clothing almost as much as the bike itself.

really, is that right.
the only V twins ive really heard a lot are TL's and SV's and Harleys of course, ive never really ridden with a Duc, but they sound so sweet apart from that nasty rattling sound they all make.
is there any way to get rid of that

lol. no way to get rid of the rattle. it's a dry clutch, altough most ducati riders like me put an open basket clutch cover on (no fluid, so that works). that makes it much louder. if you put the stock cover back on, it's MUCH quieter.

i like it. it's coooooooool!
