Exclamation '03 CBR600RR - Yellow - 4500 mi. - like new - low shipping

Aarrgh! Sorry, well for all the confusion.

Okay, I do have to sell my motorcycle after all.

So, here's the basics again and I'll get the full listing back up soon!

2003 Honda CBR600RR - Yellow - approx. 4500 miles

EXTENDED WARRANTY

The bike is like new. The finish is in great shape with only a few minor blemishes. It's never been down and it hasn't been in any form of an accident... no tip overs, no nothing. I mostly commute on it so 95% of it's mileage has been interstate. It's been serviced at the dealership and I have all the original documentation available as well. If you have any questions please ask!

Modifications/Upgrades:

Micron Dual Outlet Stainless Slip On
Larry's Fender Eliminator
Shock Racing Short Stalk Rear LED Turn Signals
Larry's LED License Plate Bolt Lights
Honda Seat Cowl
Vortex Spools
Stomp Tank Grip Pads
ProGrip Tank Pad
Stock Painted Windscreen
Upgraded Halogen Headlamp Elements
GSXR1K Integrated Turnsignal Mirrors

I've also got a ton of gear and accessories - KBC TK8 Helmet (clear and smoke lens), Honda Leather Jacket by Firstgear, Honda Leather Pants by Firstgear, Alpinestars Boots, Draggin' Jeans, Icon Boots, Icon Squad Backpack, Bike Master Tank Bag, Icon Mesh Jacket, Icon Jeans, Joe Rocket Gloves, Icon Ti-Max Short Gloves (2-pair one XL one XXL), Visor Bag, Rear Paddock Stand, Cardo Scala Ride Bluetooth Headset, Kryptonite Disc Lock, Batter Tender.

I wanted to do a color conversion on the bike but never got around to it so I also have extra lowers, rear tail, and seat cowl. I also have all the original parts that I removed from the bike for upgrades/modifications.

I have a friend in the transport business so I can get you a deal on shipping.

I was originally asking $7000 for everything listed above (except for shipping of course). I lowered the price to $6500.

If you just want the bike as is I'll take $6250.

Here are some pics:

Cheers,

Now that's a deal. Good luck with the sale, even though you won't need it.

Thanks, I think it's pretty fair. It is nearly new and there's a lot of good gear there that would provide a new rider with just about everything they need (provided they are about my size). But, if they don't want the gear they don't have to buy it. Thanks for the comment!

Cheers,

Will do... I've got time tomorrow so I'll get out the camera and the paddock stand and take some shots of it and some of the gear so peeps can see all of it.

Thanks and I'll shoot you a PM when I get them uploaded.

As I mentioned in the ad, I've gotten permission to buy the car of my dreams provided I sell the motorcycle. I realize it may not be much of a car to most but I thought I'd let you know in case someone wants to make a deal in trade. I'm shopping for a lower cost Mini Cooper S. Most likely will have to be an '02/'03 model with higher miles... I will consider a standard Mini but I really gotta have a manual transmission. So, and I know this is a longshot, if you have a Mini and are interested in taking my motorcycle + $$$ in on a trade deal then don't hesitate to get in touch with me!

Cheers,

Let me know if you want to see it or if you have any other questions.

Thanks for looking and posting!

zymurguy, i'm tying to get my money together to possibly take advantage of this deal (or another one out there) soon, but might not be quite there yet. what i'm thinking is that i'll want the bike, spare parts, and extra plastics, but not the gear (not my size). PM me a price.

ps: ...and thanks! i just read my post and it sounded kind of short...i'm not a jerk...lol!

pss: not that i would ever stereotype Icon wearers, lol, but what is your postion on stunting?

Stunt all you want, I don't care :) But, it's not for me. I commute on my bike and ride alot in town so the Icon style fits me... they make some pretty practical stuff for my sort of riding.

And no, I did't take any offense at all. I'm mad at myself for not getting pics in quicker. I'm the jerk!

I'll send you a PM and thanks a ton for keeping an eye on my thread.

PS: if you need time for $$$ I'm sure we can work something out.

Cheers,

no, i don't stunt, and am not at all into it. i only ask because i'm very paranoid about the condition of the bike i buy. ie, i don't want a bike that has been stunted, raced, dropped, improperly maintained, improperly broken in, etc. thats one reason i'm interested in this one...that and my idea for a yellow bike is the black tail, black lowers, black euro wing style Ala the pre Winston Ten Kate bikes...so the spare plastics are a sweet addition.

That's exactly what I was going for... the black and yellow conversion I've seen others do here. Unfortunately I just didn't have time to do it and now my priorities have really changed.

But rest assured, the only time it's been up on one wheel has been in the garage on the paddock stand!!! :)

I broke it in just as the manual and dealership recommended. It was my first new bike so I was super careful about keeping it new as long as possible. Sometimes I can't believe I'm going to sell it and I wish there was some other way around it. I never thought I'd ever be able to buy a new bike and now that I have I'm turning around and abandoning it.... uuugh.

Well, maybe whine of a nice supercharger in the Mini Cooper will make me feel better... heheheh.

Cheers,

Oh, and I think I have one complete set of lowers and an extra left or right lower... can't remember. I won a couple eBay auctions at the same time and got more than I bargained for. They all had a bit of rash on 'em but I've worked then and primered them and wet sanded them. They won't take much to prep for finish paint. The rear tail section still needs some work but has been re-plastic-welded and now just needs some sanding and primering and wet sanding. I'll look in the garage later tonight to get a sound inventory of the extra plastics... like I mentioned I think I already have the black seat cowl (there's a yellow one on the bike too and I have the original padded seat).

Cheers,

Thanks for all the interest and views... this bike is sold!

With that, it looks like I'll be leaving this community, at least, for a while. Maybe someday soon I'll be able to get another bike. Might be a couple years so I hope everyone here is still enjoying their RRs and keeping things going here!

Cheers,
