FS: 2007 Cbr600rr red/black

Selling my 2007 Honda Cbr600rr

VIN: JH2PC40087M000626

19,xxx miles

I take care of my motorcycles very well. Never ride it real hard other than when it was on the track a couple times. Oil changed every 3000 miles. Fuel stabilizer when stored over winter. Fuel system cleaner every so often. Fresh steering stem bearings and rebuilt front calipers.

Mods:
Woodcraft frame sliders
Accossato master cylinder
Spieger brake lines
Hids
Puig windscreen
BMC street air filter
520 sprocket conversion -1 front
Speedodrd

Probably more I can't think of. It is currently missing an exhaust but I have that in the mail and should be here in a couple days. I took off some mods to make some money back and reverted some back to stock. Selling because I've moved onto a different bike and could use the money to pay off some other things. I'm not that desperate so I'm not willing to sell it for cheaper than I'd like but I am reasonable.

Located in Warren, MI

Price is $5,700 OBO

Nice, for me it was the worse move ever selling my 08 6RR same colors^. I bought an 08 750 GSXR, never really liked the bike, sold it and spent the money on a Golf MK1 Project....Are you planning to buy a new 600?

He's already hopped onto the R6 train like I have and has done some of the mods I've suggested! R6's are on another level in comparison, I must say.

Hmm same here, the Honda is a clean bike, some people say its kinda ''Cheap''... Personally I loved my 08. I've never been a huge fan o the R6. I'e never had one some thats maybe why. I don't like the front that much, tail is kinda strange..But who knows maybe if I ride one I change my mind.. It would be interesting to read a review on why you change it for an R6

Well basically the main reason behind me buying the r6 is because I've always loved the way it looked. I love the aggressive look of it. And I could never get my cbr to sound the way I wanted it to and I just love the sound of the R6. Nothing against the cbr it was a fantastic bike never let me down. It is very basic tho it's missing some things that come stock on the r6 like a brembo master cylinder and slipper clutch. The cbr feels heavier too. When I first sat on the r6 is was so lightweight even tho they weigh roughly the same, the weight is distributed much better. I haven't fracked the r6 so I can't compare that. But it's a very smooth bike and seems easier to ride. The cbr has an awkward power surge at about 3k rpm where it just sorta takes off. I never liked that but wasn't a big issue. The r6 is very nimble. First ride out of the parking lot it was intense how unstable I felt because it was so nimble, but I easily adjusted to it. Power band is much higher but once you hit it at 10k it takes off. And the mods to this thing are supposed to make it an incredible bike. Tune the ECU and it's supposed to be a rocket. That'll be getting done this winter. I will say I like the clutch better on the cbr. It grabs nicer in 1st. Other than that it's a perfect bike

I fortunately was able to get my CBR sounding really good with my Two Bro's CF black series slip on and I wouldn't mind that sound at all on the R6. Right now my R6 sounds good, but it's not that same deep menacing tone that I had on the CBR. You think that R6 has power now and is smooth.... Your sadly mistaken. The ECU flash will change your life. He smoothens out ignition timing and the fuel distribution, the higher idle RPM makes the oil pressure run at proper temps, plus it's less range for the motor to rev within, the reduced engine braking allows for seamless downshifts, and having it smoothened out and unlocked makes it so you don't have that stupid jump in power at 10k RPM's and instead you get that nice fluid hard accelerating pull throughout the entire power band. The bike is set to 70% throttle at full lock under 10k RPM in every gear which is why you get that super spike in power! Once you get the R6 on the track it will be a bit awkward at first, it's gonna seem like the bike just wants to fall over into the turn..... And that's exactly what it wants to do. Tip over and stay there. It loves being leaned over and feels so good once you get it over.

You don't have to drag knee to go fast around a track!

$0. The product speaks for itself, you just don't know yet. You'll be ranting and raving once you get it done as well.
