Wow, selling so soon. Funny, but I actually was also contemplating on selling mine out for a change of direction in life. Then after further understanding, a 25-30% loss on depreciation is a very tough pill to swallow after only 6 months and 3k miles, not to mention the time / patience it will take to sell - but this is just the truth that I should already know going into this. Supersports do seem to be the niche of a niche. I'll continue to ride mine out for as long as I happily can. It's a fantastic bike for as long as the appreciation can last, that's for sure. On a positive note, the Spring riding season is just around the corner.

Good luck with your sale... Keep us posted, please.

Do you have it on your local Craigslist? eBay isn't bad either. Good luck man.

Such a smoking deal based on current mileage & how clean the bike is good luck with the sale

It's not a horrible price, the bike is in great shape with low miles, however look at it from another prospective:

I personally don't like the Yoshimura exhaust, the fender eliminator or any if the other mods you did so they are worth exactly zero to me. I'm also a size XXL in everything so your offer of helmet, gloves and jacket again mean zero to me. And I can walk into a Honda dealership, buy a brand new 2013, 2014 or 2015 CBR600RR with a full factory warranty for $8499 and get a great deal on financing through Honda.

What should I choose, your bike at $8900 or new at around the same price because around here I have to pay TTL whether it's new or used? I know my choice.

I'm being honest with you; sell all your accessories separately and put the bike back to 100% stock. You have at least $500-$700 in stuff to sell, lower the bike price to $7,900 and it'll sell on Craigslist within a week I bet. In the end you get the same money, it just comes about different.

You could have a bike worth $10,000 list for $1,000 and with bad advertising you'll never get any interest as well. I am not saying that is the case, it is just an example lol.

Do you have the bike listed on craigslist and other online websites? Stick to bullet point descriptions, no one wants to read a story, nor will they take the time to. Take many high quality pictures. This doesn't mean you have to have a high quality camera, just take pictures with better angles and better lighting. Clean your bike. Including your tires. Take close up pictures to showcase the cleanliness. Even if one picture up close, from one angle, shows extreme cleanliness, the buyer will assume the rest is just as clean. Do not advertise words like, scratch/dent free. If you mention it, the buyer will think of it.

With proper advertising, you can sell a piece of poop to someone for $1,000.

personally i think its super hard to sell a a street bike on a forum just because most ppl that join already bought a bike. track bike is a dif story tho. i posted mine on Craigslist and ebay for now

This!
This is exactly how I sold my 1993 Honda Accord on Craigslist for $3,800 (that was 1K above KBB). It was in great condition, but without proper advertising as mentioned above, nobody will realize that.

I do have it on Craigslist, and even on some places on Facebook. Kelly blue book is $8,700 so I don't feel I'm asking way too much for the bike. Guess just be patient and that someone will buy it.

Don't even look at KBB. That website was made for the sole purpose of insurance companies ripping you off. An all original, perfect condition, 1973 corvette is worth 200 bucks on KBB. That's how accurate KBB is.

Again, just to stress this point, have proper advertising. Proper advertising doesn't only mean quantity but quality. It only takes the persuasion of one person. Best of luck brother.
