03RR track only low miles please read

SOLD
O
L
D

This bike will be available at the end of May. Right now I do not have the title in hand but should have it by the end of May.

The bike was originally going to be a track/race bike. It was bought brand new in 03 and I am the original owner. The bike has never been down, ever. Closest it came to going down was when I was reparking the bike one night in sandles and my sandle got caught in the rear set. Saved it thankfully.

I stripped the bike and sold the street stuff and bought all the race goodies. Financial hardships came down and most of the race goodies were sold or traded. The bike has been stagnant for the past 2 years. In all honesty I cannot remember the last time it was started. Bike is completely stripped of all plastics. It is missing the top tripple bolt, as it went missing after I sold the damper.

I will post pics as soon as possible. Please keep in mind I will not sell this bike until I have the title in hand (should be the end of May). I am not asking for deposits or anything of that nature, a simple "I'll take it" will suffice.

Asking price is $1500.00 firm. I will not take anything less, ever, nor will I part out. Bike is for pick up only in Central Florida. I will email pictures upon request. I will answer any questions you have in regards to the condition of the bike in this forum only. I do not wish to complicate anything, but since the bike has been sitting stangnant for so long I do not want any surprises on either end.

Thank you,
Erik

Somewhere in the range of 38xx miles. The battery was long disconnected and has since expired, so I cannot give an exact number. I do know that it is under 4000 miles.

Give me your email address and I will start sending pics.

The bike will also need a fairing stay. I briefly looked at it last night, but will pull the cover off and clean her up as best I can tonight and take pictures. I'm positive there are misc bolts that have been lost in transitions that will need to be replaced as well. Nothing major, like and engine mount bolt.

I will post up a couple of pics in the thread and mass distribute all pics to all those requested. It will be late this evening, but I should have no problems getting it done. In all honesty I did not expect this much of a response.

THank you,
Erik

What I would replace:
Tires
Front rotors unless you can blast the rust off
Brake pads (although new it has been stagnant for 2 years)
Chain

It has Racetech springs and valves
Vortex 520 stock gearing sprockets
Jardine Race slip on CF

I will be mass emailing the rest of the pictures shortly. If you have any requests for close ups not sent to your email please ask me in this thread, not email.

Thank you,
Erik

**** i will go into debt for this one. is it sold yet.. iknow May but has anyone put money down?

Never argue with stupid people. They will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience
Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

All pics can be viewed here.

The bike was put into this position becuase I ran into some tough financial times. Parts were sold to pay bills etc etc etc. I could no longer afford to keep it in storage so it sat under a blue tarp for almost 16 months outside. The bike has not ran in almost 2 years, and it will not start now because I have no juice in the battery and I have not ran the bypass on the tilt sensor.

Please feel free to ask questions or request specific pictures. As it sits right now I owe just a hair over $2500 on it. I plan on having it paid for by the end of May.

No one has put a deposit on it and I am uncomfortable accepting one for a bike that I do not have the title for.

Thank you,
Erik

After you've had the title for 24hrs and still haven't been paid for it. Let me know, I'll pay-pay you the cash and have A truck at your house inside of A week. I'll even toss ya another $100.00 for storing it for the week.
