Anybody want my old spare track bike.....2000 RC51 with clean title.

Location........Tampa, FL.

Have a solid Honda RC51 for sale. Its a 2000 with clean and clear title. Been a track day/spares bike for the past couple years and has had very little use. Basically sat there collecting dust waiting for me to snag parts off of it should i destroy my other track bike. The bike has had a low side on the left, but the damage was very minimal. The RC is perfectly operational and i still take it up and down the street occasionally. There is no readily noticeable damage visible. I can point out the finer blems in person, but you wouldn't be able to see anything from a couple feet away.

Keep in mind that for 2k under book this isn't going to be a mint bike. However, its worth much more than i'm asking. All i claim is to offer a solid reliable bike with no known issues for a very fair price. Not to mention its more than considerably quick and sounds great. It will come set up with lights, a set of track skins(undamaged), freshly powder coated rims, stomp grips(for the tank), superbike grips(for the clip ons), Galfer race pads on the front, 5mm shimmed rear shock, pilot/race tires with less than 100 miles on them, and a 520 chain conversion with under 500 miles on the set up. All the other race parts i removed. All fluids are fresh as is the new oil filter. There is currently a full aftermarket exhaust on it [Arrow Ti cans with SS header(1,300 when new)] and the matching power commander which i will leave on the bike for an additional cost. If one looks close enough you will see the seat looks a bit odd. Originally it was a shaved seat and a double cushioned seat combined into one to make for a more plush ride, as Honda seats are notorious for being about as soft as a plank of oak. What i found out was that the adjusted rider position made a big improvement in the way one can handle the bike. Looks a bit odd, but i left it cause the bike just feels right with this seat.

This is a dual purpose use bike which can be great fun on the track and able to be street ridden as well. Would welcome anyone to come have a look see for themselves. If you want to test ride you must have cash in hand.

__________________________________________________ ________________________

The bike only has 9921 original miles and most of them were geared (-1 +2). Being that i am selling this as a dual purpose track/street bike i switched out the cluster. The replacement cluster shows 20,xxx miles but should be of no concern seeing how its a track day type bike. Needed the original speedo for my 04 project bike.
Should someone wish to have the original cluster they may get it for an additional 130 bucks. Wish it wasn't so high but people are paying stupid money for clusters on ebay and this is the only way i can get another cluster....by selling the original.
I can also reduce the cost of the bike should someone want me to take off some parts. I can take off the 520 chain conversion which will deduct 50 bucks. I can also take off the exhaust which will deduct another 400.

PRICE.........................................4,00 0 as you see it in the pictures or 3,600 without an exhaust.

??? Not sure what you are referring to. This is just an extra spares bike i had sitting around for a couple years. In case i had a serious get off with my other RC track bike i'd be able to snag parts off this one. Thank God i never had to do such a thing.
I have tons of RC performance parts and enough stock parts to build another one. Combine that with the fact that i got a newer dedicated track tool its no longer vital that i keep this one or my previous track RC. So, i'll be getting ride of both of these bikes and subsequint(sp?) performance parts and simply keep enough spares for emergencies, retain one track RC and one for the street. Thankfully i have a cool neighbor who is willing to trade out his 07 600rr whenever i want(and vis versa), so i still get to play with the rr on the track sometimes.

Lots of tire kickers......just waiting on a new owner. Took it down the street yesterday and can't help but smile from ear to ear. Certainly is a blast to ride.

I really miss my old RC-51. Dave you would have a blast on the thing. She is a bit big but just fun as all get out when you whack the throttle open. I WILL have an RC again one day. Bump for a good guy and nice bike.

Sorry no trades. That is unless you have a 2004 or newer Duelly diesel Ford or Dodge to trade straight up.

Very soon i will be heading up to Jasper FL. which is just a few miles south of Jennings. Since i'm heading up that way i'll reduce the cost of gas charge to 55 bucks which will cover the cost of fuel for the miles the RC is loaded.
For any of you northern guys that cuts about 8 hrs out of your round trip.

Bump for anyone that has a nice dirtbike or sport quad to trade(straight or partial). Hell, even nice rolling sport quad chassis is an option. Got a 180+ hp motor sitting here with nothing to do.

After the 636 shifter cart maybe that's not such a good idea.

I would SO buy this if I didn't have to drive to Florida.

Not to mention I still have my wrecked 600rr in the garage, still trying to decide what to do with it. Very nice bike, got any more pics?

It's a torque beast.
Great on the throttle coming out of turns
Very stable & comfortable at high speeds
You should buy it & let me ride it !!! hehehe
I LOVE big V Twins !!
Heck I'd even get out there & race it with the Ducs in the big V Twin class !
Unfortunately, my wife would kill me in my sleep if I brought home another motorcycle :(

63 and still having FUN !!

Um yeah, i don't know about your ideas. Maybe better kept to yourself.

You can forget about having to shift a million times every race or ride. Lots of tq down low and sounds like naked angels bouncing up and down on bongos. Be careful in 1st through 3rd or you might find yourself dumped off the back of the bike. The nose likes to reach for the stars with a handful of throttle. You can always pm me what you were thinking of. The worst i can do is say no thanks.
