Hey guys, I decided to go with fastfairings.com to order my new fairings. After looking around for while, they seemed to be the only ones (that I could find) with nothing real bad said about them. I ordered them a couple of days ago and they should be here within a couple of weeks. They say they ship in 2-3 days but that's only if you get ones they have already made and in stock. Otherwise, it takes about 12-18 days. They had great customer service so far. Responded quickly to everything I asked. Can't wait for them to come in! Will post pics when they get here!

Cool! I like that red on white color scheme. Let us know how they turn out with fitment when you get the installed.

So today my fairings are supposed to arrive! I can't wait to see how they turned out and fit. I figured I'd let you guys know how my experience was with them throughout this process. I ordered my set on 4/26, now their site says 12-18 b-days if they have to custom make your set. So 5/20 would have been the 18th b-day (staying true to their word). They were really good in answering all of my questions regarding my order. They responded quickly to everything - sometimes within minutes of my email (it was quite surprising to be honest).

One thing that I wasn't too happy about was that they don't mention anything about China. They say that every order is shipped from their warehouses in Michigan (you can see the language from their site at http://www.fastfairings.com/Articles.asp?ID=132). When they say this, they are talking specifically about in-stock items. If they have to custom make your set, they will not be coming via UPS like stated on their site but rather USPS and will be coming from their plant in Shanghai China. Now they say that they have nothing to do with the eBay orders that have the cheap plastics from the Hong Kong factories. We will see about that. Besides that, everything was great and if the fairings turn out to fit and look good, if I have to ever buy a fairing set again, I will definitely use them again. I will post pictures of the set when they get here and when I am able to put them on.

Hey guys, sorry about the delay. I have been extremely busy with work and other things and haven't been on here in a while. I will post pictures sometime in the near future. As far as the fairings themselves, they are awesome! To start, each piece came individually wrapped with plently of protection. There were no scratches on any of the pieces and it came with more than I expected (a seat cowl was included, rear fender, and every little plastic piece you can imagine). It was a pleasant surprise. The heat shielding looks decent and like it will work well (haven't had any problems with it and hope I don't). There was only one hole that wasn't drilled through and some had to be widened a little bit. I don't see that as that big of a deal since it is better to have to make it a little bigger rather than needing it to be smaller. The fitment and alignment of the holes matched up almost perfectly. One of the only problems I had was with the tail light - the holes were a little small and I had some trouble lining it up. Besides these few things, everything fit well and was just as described. I would definitely use them again. I won't be able to post pictures until mid next week, but will do once I can.
