Let's give back to [email protected]

I'm sure many of us have gotten awesome gears/advice and saved a lot from [email protected]

Just a thought. I want to give something back to this special individual for giving us so much. It would be great if we could have a member who everyone can trust set up a "Jason Appreciation" account so that we can all chip in to put a little package together just to say Thank You. Please chime in if you any any better ideas to show our appreciation.

Please step up if you can to manage this.

Do we have any volunteers?

(Not sure if this idea is breaking any forum rules. If it is, I apologize and please delete.)

There is going to be one flaw, who do you trust on the internet to hold money? Especially one you never met.

I am sure he will get a nice bonus from the sales he makes... You Buy Now

I already am. Just thought he needed something special and not just all the referrals he get from all the satisfied customers.

That's the hardest part I agree. But we're not talking multi-million dollar contributions here. I'm sure we can trust someone here enough with our $5, $10, or $20. I hope some of the mods here would be willing to help out with this.

No it's because of his great customer service and willingness to get everyone the best price. I have heard nothing but great reviews over how great of a vendor he is.

I don't mean to knock the idea, but it's his great customer service that keeps him in business. The reason we go back to him to buy is for that same reason, we have a good and reliable experience and don't feel 'screwed'.

If having returning business isn't appreciation, I don't know what is!

I don't really think it's fair to do that for one and not for others either, I appreciate everything Tripage did for me mahoosively, as do many others, shall we do one for T too?

Guys, don't get me wrong. I'm only asking the people who feel that Jason has gone beyond what he is required to do as a sales rep. Nobody is required to make any contributions. And we are only talking about a few bucks here and there. Just enough to send him and his significant other to a nice dinner or so.

I know return businesses and referrals are two main ways to show appreciation, but why can't we go beyond that.

As for other vendors, you are welcome to show your appreciation by doing the same, or beyond, if you think the vendor deserve it.

Jason does NOT own STG, he just works there. He is the forum guy for STG. Brian Van is the actual owner, he is the one that does all the videos.

The best thing you can do is to just keep buying stuff form him, tell your friends, tell everyone on the forum.

I kind of have Moeman in mind when I was thinking about this.

I've had my fair share of discounts. This may sound crazy to you, but I'll actually buy from Jason/STG over another competitor if the price difference is not too much. His customer service is second to none. That's why you'll see all kind of good words about him on this forum. It's more of this wonderful customer service that I'm after, not the kind of discount you are suggesting. And this token of appreciation is for a good guy who works for STG, not the vendor.

I would gladly contribute to the Tristan Appreciation fund too.

Quite a nice gesture, I really appreciate it. This forum has been awesome to me. Every damn day my personal line rings and it's "Hey this is _____ from the .net forums" or something like that. Your incessant business is more than enough.

I've got my Verizon account racked up for two months worth of service. I'll just give you guys my login and you can chip away at it. hahahah

On the realz, you guys don't have to do anything for me. Just keep the calls rolling in and give me a tiny bit of slack if I don't answer a PM right away. The busy season is kicking my ass right now.

HAHA. That's quite funny to me. I always wonder if people think I'm the owner posting in here. Hopefully not, I post some not-so-appropriate stuff from time to time. I'll let Brian know you what you posted, he'll get a kick out of it.

Jason has been great. I'm in Canada and he called me personally when something I wanted was on B/O. Lots of other companies just charge your card and you wait for them to get it. I recommend anyone to buy from him. A class act.

Looks like I'm going to be doing this by myself. I'll wait 'til the end of May. If this idea doesn't take off, I'll make the contribution myself with what I can.

Bumpin this thread cuz this is most appropriate place to post this

i just received my Knox Recon gloves

got them at work today and rode home with them. Jason processed the order 6/3 and 4 days later they are on my hands. I'm not entirely sure how that's possible if you look at my location. I think STG just carries some gud ju ju or something. Anyways, the gloves feel great. Got the gloves at work and rode home with them. super comfy. I know they aren't the most protective things out there but its awesome for the price point. Jason pointed out that they run a little tight and this is true but they should be fine once i get them broken in. the move air through up the hand EXTREMELY well. very very pleased.

Jason FTW.
