Thumbs down BulletBikez.com worst vendor I've dealt with

I ordered an exhaust from Bulletbikez.com on 6/20/07 and it's backorderd.
I sent an email asking if they can give me an estimate on a date.
Response was "Shouldn't be too long."
It's goin on 3 weeks and the item is still backordered.
Sent an email last week with no response as of yet and I can't reach anyone on the phone, goes straight to a machine.
They charged my c.c. on the date I ordered it.
Worst vendor ever and I will never use them again.

Yeah those backorders can take awhile, I would guess that it would not take longer than 6 weeks, Good luck though I hope you get it sooner.

if it's back ordered and it's "going on 3 week" thats about right depending on the item....

I don't understand your complaint....are you mad cause it's taken 3 weeks or are you mad that you can't get in touch with anyone ???

do you understand what the word "back order" means?? sometimes these things take a couple of weeks man.......

just keep calling them and when you finally get through to someone , just tell them that you would like a refund cause your impatient.

Yeah backordered has nothing to do with the vendor, it's the supplier (probably Parts Unlimited).

They probably shouldn't have charged your CC though until the parts are ready to be shipped.

Here's my complaints.
1. When I ordered the part the website didn't inform me that it was backordered.
2. I didn't get any sort of notice it was backordered untill I checked for a tracking #.
3. The first email response I got was unprofessional and vague.
4. Bad communication as no one answers the phone and a non response to emails.
5. They charged my c.c. for it already when the item is still backordered.

The fact that it's backordered is understandable but not being informed of this and being in limbo is what's annoying also the fact that they charged my c.c.. If they gave me a time frame then I wouldn't expect it till then.

I think those things make for a poor vendor.
I don't plan to ever use them again and I actually sent them an email asking them to cancel my order.

This is a heads up of what sort of service to expect when you purchase something from them.

Nah that's standard operating procedure. Especially if it's from PU (restocking fee)..

I'm not saying the business in question isn't wrong..They should've checked first..But that's sometimes what you get with internet business and phone orders..That's the drawback I guess..You save some money, but there's sometimes a price for that...

I guess I am out of the loop but I just heard the term “bullet bike” a few weeks back, pretty gay name IMO.

Oh yeah, I know nothing about this vendor but they got a $hitty name. :p

most likely, these guys are using a drop shipp service to deal. their business plan is to get the money first, then purchase the item, so they are never in the red. problems lie when things like this happens.

sucks to hear about it man. i'd say listen to the heavy shoppers on this site and use trusted sources.

site approved vendors may be the best way to go. i'm sure they've worked hard to get their status on the site and would jump through hoops to make you happy. besides, they seem to offer some really good prices anyways.
