hmm.. ok.

Are the guys at the meets usually half decent people/riders? Every time I roll thru Milwaukee I end up meeting a bunch of asshats on the highway trying to do stupid **** in traffic.. and I don't need any of that crap around me.

The majority of those riders ride unsafe and they just ride and stop..ride and stop. I tend to stay away from those large group meets.

Then I will get a good 5 hours in :D

Roads up here are still junk, a lot of the back roads still have a bunch of sand on them..

Eh, just the Kettle Moraine scenic route, which can be kind of crappy depending on road conditions.. (pavement breaking, leaves on the ground) .. there's some nice roads further north also.

Hey guys (and maybe gals...just in case hehe) Menomonee Falls for me and I want to throw one more query out there - who's going to the track this year and when?

I'm at RA May 1st for the Race License (wish me luck hehe), then BHF end of May, back at RA June 8th, RA again July 13th & 14th, Gignerman in South Haven in Aug and Autobahn in Sept for 3 days of fun with BHF race July/Aug/Sept thrown in - somewhere in there I need to find time to run around on the street with the sweetie too.....

oh and if any of you local type are thinking about a trackday and need a haul up/down/whatever those days I've got room for 1 in the trailer I think, just let me know

PS edit - Rode in today, really it's not that cold......

Yea

+5 for the chopped up crapy milwaukee roads...

about the group rides the folks at all out sound like they dont take no SH*** about folks playing around like that... but I cant speak from experience...

they take their stuff to a shipping lot on other days for stuntin somewhere south east...
so they dont want that crap with them on the rides (no need to call additional attention from the cops let alone risk injury to other riders cause
some idiot wants to get up on one in traffic) but thats just from my reading on their forum,,,,,

NEWS FLASH !! delay in picking up my baby damn volvo #2 needed brake work...Arrrrggggg!!!!!!!

newer volvo gonna need a cv joint or something cause of these crappy potholes soon ....
afraid one of these holes is gonna swallow my whole bike in it one day....

Please count me in for learning about local twisties !!!!!!

Even if I cant take em yet I wana know where they are !!!:book1:

I want to go to road america. im just not to sure what i have to do. but i still have to go read the trak day thread. only reason why i want to go to road america, bhf, and gingerman, grattan, and st. louis (gateway international raceway) is becuase ive raced my gokart there before. my motor was a honda cr125. but it was all mofified. i got up to 120 m.p.h. there :) it was awesome.

what kind of times do you run at bhf?
