you live in Springfield, right?

We got a bit of snow up here in KC, not to mention that it's in the teens/low 20's during the day!

But yes, even when it's 40-50 degrees out, people always ask me if I'm freezing.

I would be riding but between the snow melting then turning to ice, I also have to deal with high winds. Enjoy the better weather.

hell yea. i get bit at least once a year with an unexpected power wheelie when the weather changes.

on topic, if it is less than 48 i dont ride. other than that, i have the gear and people always ask if i am cold. no ... i am not... hence the leather and 50 layers. if we were cold we wouldnt be riding.

16 degrees for a 25 minute ride to work is my record low. Only the ice and snow is able to really scare me into not riding. It's hard to find a lower temp without the ice and snow around...

I rode in 20 degrees with 3 sweaters and a jacket but definitely needed winter gloves. The key to cold is keeping the core as warms as possible and then it will take care of the hands and feet accordingly. (still get some good stuff for those hands and feet though)

If it's in the 40s I'll ride. Usually only if it's around 45.

It's not really worth my time, or mileage. I do enjoy a bit of frosty riding though. Feels amazing. Amazingly COLD !!! hahaha

I dont mind the 40's but lower than that gets a little too chilly. Snow or ice, no way.

i pretty much ride year round too if it's not snowing (actually i did ride in the snow this year lol)

I have all this except for the hot socks ... http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com...r:Cold+Killers

I definitely recommend the cold gear. This is the first year i was able to ride in 30deg weather without feeling cold at all. :)

I've been riding in Vermont for about 3 weeks now. Average temp is about 35. The salt and sand on the roads are a bitch. Watch those cold tires out there! I broke my rear loose under power yesterday, though I think I may have hit a patch of black ice. Didn't go down but it caught me by suprise. Everyone at work thinks I'm a nut.
