lol Port Augusta is one hell of a detour! Might ride up there for the sake of it though... it's only about 3.5 hours from my place.

It's worth it, as is the Quorn side as if you were going to the Pitchi Ritchie Railway. Good surface. Horrocks Pass is a little twistier than the Quorn run but both are good fun.

Dunno if you guys have seen this page but I've ridden on most of the roads in the North Eastern hills of Adelaide, the Ranges definitely do it for me. Haven't been down to south to Strath yet but hear it has nice roads too.

There isn't much of the hills I haven't ridden... being that I grew up there. There isn't a whole heap around strath itself, but the ride there from maccy or meadows is great...

And there are a lot more great roads to ride on than the ones shown!

I agree, but it does highlight my top 3 favourite roads so far. I'm definitely in for a day long ride, will have a bit more time at the end of the year to do so! Btw how do you like your 600rr shirts Nico? I'm loving mine

Good mate, nice and light and a good fit.

When did you want to catch up and get the other one? And I might give you spacecadet's as well if you'll see him before I do... I will be coming past your place (or near enough to) on Thursday if you like.

Yeah a catch up would be good. Let me know when you are nearby on Thursday. Where will you be? I'll let spacecadet know

I've got to go into town, so it's no problem to swing by. Should be going past your place at around 11:30 if that suits.

And I just found out today that Peter Stevens in the city has a sale on, a mate of mine got a full set of (two piece) leathers for $450 and reckons that the men's gear is cheaper still... not sure what brand she got though either.

Yeah I should be at home at 11:30, cheers for the heads up on PS sale. I'll definitely have a browse. Btw I'll send you a link for Dainese gear if you're interested, some of which is much cheaper than PS (even on sale day). Check your PM.

Gotta get the maintenance done on the bike and get it registered again first mate! But I will definitely be keeping an eye on this thread...

At the very least we should catch up for a beer sometime.

For sure man, my roster is everywhere at the moment but end of the year I'll be week on and week off. Did you end up picking up some leathers?

Nah mate, not yet... the ones that I found that would fit were $1600... which was more than just a little out of my budget.

Holy ****! Even I couldn't justify that, keep an eye on Formula Xtreme Classifieds (http://www.formula-xtreme.com.au/xtr...fieds!openform) now you know your rough size, they have some decent suits going for decent prices at times.

The issue was finding a pair that I could get around my calves... just about everything that was big enough in the calf was 2 sizes to big...

I've just sat my interview so can finally relax on my days off. When the weather improves we should all catch up for a beer/coffee/chai latte/whatever.

Also Nico the stickers have arrived.

When are you guys usually free? Weekends, during the day, arvos? I've got a **** roster at the moment so have the odd week day free which you guys are likely to be hard at work. Will be on week on and week off from Nov so will be free 9th - 18th Nov, 28th Nov - 2nd Dec.

Lol mate, I'm on night shift and posted that message because I couldn't sleep. Whats your excuse?

I'm keen to ride but am on night shifts at the time of the toy run. Do you prefer sweepers Nico? I find the run up to Strath and out past that are no fun unless you're doing at least 140 which I don't like doing since I only have 4 points left.

Sick kids...

Depends on which way you go to get to strath, I can keep you interested doing 20 below the limit for a decent portion of that run... but probably 70% of it is good at 80. It is a little boring once you are pretty close to strath though.
