Can you id this bike?

Guys! My kickboxing coach is offering me a beater 600. He says its a Yamaha year 2000 YZF but I don't believe him since I can't find any that look like it. Can you identify this bike?

My first bike was a '98 yzf600r. Great all around bike. I miss the underseat storage. I could fit 3 waters in there for long rides.
