lol yea i was actually in the market for a white and silver CBR but i came across this baby and i got a killer deal on it.

ill always have my love or hondas tho. the R1 doesnt feel in anyway as solid as my old CBR. The hondas have a better quality build compared to my R1 and my roommates 07 r6

Those aren't race fairings, that is an option on the new R1. The bike looks great with those wheels. Nice suspension as well. I bet it is a scary beast to ride.

ur correct - theyre the racing REPLICA that rossi rides.

they weren't an option on the 2004s so this is aftermarket. yamaha asks over $2k for the fairing kit for the 07+ which i think is insane.

the rear suspension is STIFF so if u hit dips or bumps, u really feel it on ur nads if u arent ready for it

my roommate has a 07 r6 with slip-on and its a WORLD of a difference in speed. the bike gets to 130 in no time at all. its scary fast

Sick rides, what kind of motor is in the EK? B18C5 or did he just buy the Type R cover for it? I have an 00 EK with a B18C and I love looking at other peoples build.

My brother has the same wheel combo on his EG, down to the Azenis rubbers.

i believe the civic is a b16-T if im not mistaken. I'm not really into hondas so i'm not very familiar. I havent been much into cars since i sold my evo and got into motorcycles lol

and i dont know the MSRP on R1's but i got this 1 modded for less than 5k

Nice bike man. I was looking at R1's and Honda Repsol. For the 08 R1 it is 12k
09 14k (for the pearl white) they claim that is their first white one so they can't lower the price down to 13k as for the 09 repsol otd will be 13k. Next year I think I will be going for the Repsol I just love Hondas.

I know they aren't race fairings for the track I meant Race themed fairings

and the car looks like a 2000 civic si b16 perhaps running a t3/t4 turbo set up?

the fairings arent hard to take off and put back on. the metal fasteners help a lot.

the civic is a b16 turbo with a t3/t4

thanks for ur words...i myself have always loved the 04-06 r1s over the new ones. If i could change ONE thing on the bike it would be to put a 07-08 tail on it - just a thought
