It would be amazing to get to ride that bike. Hell just to get to sit on it.

I find it kind of funny how the bike always gets praised cuz rossi won on it...
likewise with the rc211, everyone was talking about it when rossi was riding it and now it's turned to the M1 :lol2:

One of the big hypes with the M1 is the development Rossi help put into the bike. It's almost s completely different bike than what it was in 2003. There is an article in the latest cycleworld mag talking about the developmetns of the bike since Rossi took over.

But i do agree on the hype of being number 1. 8-)

true enough....

but if I am not mistaken, weren't most of the changes rossi incorporated into the bike mostly setup issues...

stuff having to do with the bikes computer and how it acted, rather then to the bike itself as a whole?

He did a lot of the engine testing as well as the set up. One of the reasons Rossi was able to do so well is the lack of tire spin exiting the corners. He tested four (or was it five) different engines before the start of the season. All of them were experimenting with firing order, trying to smooth out the power band and maintain traction at corner exit.

The RC211V is the best race bike ever built hands down. Rossi is the only Yamaha rider to win on the M1 last year what does that tell you other then it takes Rossi to win on that bike!!! I think Rossi is one of the best ever but Honda make the best bike.
