That video is a few years old, but yep that's a tankslapper. Isle of Man TT I think.

So I have a question, what do you do in that situation? I've heard about tank slappers, but have yet to experience one. What causes it exactly and what is the best way to not end up wrecked? If that is possible.

That was the first bike race I ever watched on TV. I believe the rider died in the accident, but I'm not sure (it was a few years ago). The MSF course said to ride through it without fighting it or touching the brakes or gas. You just gotta hope it sorts itself out.

I have always got told when a tankslapper happens hug the **** out of the tank and scoot as far forward as you can and just let it do its thing trying to hold it up
