this is even more amazing the white car did NOT have a cage and it still had the stock seat belts.

not to worry it is NOT my car. Car belongs to one of the customers at the shop I work at. I was not at the track but basiaclly this is what happened....It happend at Willow Springs on the big track going into turn #9 the driver got off on 2 wheels instead of hitting the brakes and making the car come to a halt ASAP he decided to save it. He manage to get the car back on the track but must have over corrected or something end up in the field again and that's when the car rolled. Good news is the dirver made it thru all that alive.

a tad off topic,

what times do people turn about average in evos and subis at willow? Because on the street an evo with a few mods and nice tires with a decent driver can make a bike look slow because they can go balls out with less fear of death then the biker.... so on the track how does it pan out with those types of cars and drivers versus a decent rider timeslip wise? Just curious, dont want to start an opinion debate, just want some track time examples.

like a gix 750 with a good rider versus a mildly modded evo 8 at willow..... anyone have any insight?

oh yeah, like mouse says, some bondo and fiberglass- good as new.

Okay, deep breaths. No one asked about straight line/dragrace/hwy race/whatever

I specifically asked about timeslips of cars like evo 8s and regular sportbikes on a track such as willow for comparisons sake.

For the love of god please do not overbastardize this thread. I already did that, so i claim to steer it in the direction i want.

Well It REALLY depends on the track.

The EVO loses A LOT on top speed and thats what big track is. The only area that the evo will have any sort of advantage is T3 - T5, which is the only tight/slow section of the track. The Evo will have a hard time pulling past 90mph where-as a bike will pull like crazy all the way till about 160.

On streets of willow yea...an Evo has an advantage. But on big track, you have to remember that after T5, you're WIDE OPEN until you get to T1 (which you take at about 110) then you're on the gas again all the way around T2 until you get on the brakes for the "in-field" section...
