damn this guy would scare the crap out of me if he was infront of me at the track... there's couple times when the rear steps back inline and almost toss's him off.. I'm deadly scare of high-siding so I doubt i'll ever have the balls to accelerate out the turn that hard to slide out the rear..

pretty sweet, i saw a video of a drift competition of a bike vs a normal drift car awhile back. He gets the back out a lot farther than this guy and holds it longer.

PS: I was really hoping for a vid of a mile long slip n' slide or something

i know a guy that rides just like that. one of the fastest amateurs i know. and he rides his tires till the last dime is squeezed out of them. during an endurance race, i watched him spent 10-15 laps sliding every corner like he was drifting so they would only have to do 1 tire change lol. he did that and maintained a 1 sec time difference per lap compared to new/ crap.!!

some people can just ride like that.

I'm sure the guy is a quick rider, but sliding it the way he's doing it is more of a party trick - showmanship for the camera - than a fast technique. A bit of slip exiting a turn is desirable - laying down rubber and letting the bike step out like that is just slowing him down. He's not being very smooth with the transitions either. Just about high-sided a few times there...

Regardless of his speed around the track, his ability to do that and remain in control for the most part is impressive.

Its fairly easy to slip the back with a liter bike. I got a quite a few GoPro vids of myself leaving blackies on my six.

Stepping it out that far on purpose is not for the faint of heart though. Look at the stunters drifting around lots for more extreme examples of the same kinda thing.

The track is my crack.......................... lucky 7 - ra7or racing
