Vyrus 986 (with 600rr engine)

MCN tests the 600rr-powered Vyrus at Misano - interesting overview. Not sure why I can't embed the video. MCN seems to have improved their quality and this one is available at 1080p with better, but not great, sound... finally.

Funky looking, but I like it!

I take it they're running a stock 600RR engine on that prototype because, as far as I'm aware, the Moto2 engines are quite different to the stock 600RR engine.

either way 150hp for 600cc is impressive...

by the way, the turning circle on that vyrus bike must be massive.

I wonder how long it will take before we actually see a bike like that competing in Moto2.

how do you figure?

he said it has the wheel base of a 125gp bike, a short wheel base, that should mean quite the opposite of what you said.

with that front swing arm ... the front wheel can turn only a little until it hits the swingarms. hard to to a u-turn and such.

Do you do a lot of u-turns on the track?

I'm sure they'll find some other solution for regular streets.

Yeah, man, I'm just goofing around. I don't see it coming to the street soon either, but more for economic reasons.
