Looks like they stole the Big Piston Forks and wheels from Kawaski.
Really nice looking bike. Nice that they reworked the upper to match the 600rr, and older 100rr stylee.
Where's the 600rr leaks?

Luv it!!!

The front of the old 1000 looks so hideous but one is 1000x time better. Man, if I wasn't so afraid to ride a liter bike I'd buy this bike in a heart beat.

That is a huge improvement. It looks great, just needs a new can. Finally they get rid of the lame-looking 3-spoke wheels! Looks great!

On second glance, I'm not 100% convinced this is the 2012 1000RR. The front fairing looks awfully like something TYGA would have made.

Gotta wait until it's officially announced on Honda's website I guess.

Sort of interesting as well. The first article did bring up a very good point. Obviously those pictures are in Japan somewhere. It is possible that those pictures are only of the model being released THERE.

Like someone else said. We will know for sure when it comes from Honda...

Why is it in red, white and blue? Are those the Honda colors? I hope it is the one America gets cause it looks great, with my new job I'll be one of the first buyers if it is.

Thats the Tri Color scheme. The Brits have been getting it for years. Never makes it over here for some damned reason.

Hahaha, $5 shipping on those cheap bikes!

I'm disappointed that it's not a V4. Cosmetic changes can only get a company so far...

Also, dual clutch tranny? No more clutching? That'd mean semi-auto shifting, so what would the left lever do?

The dual-clutch is an option. When you have it, you can still manual shift, you just turn it off. It's mainly for economy, or if you want to eat a hamburger while riding
Honda already has a V-4 sportbike. It's called the VFR...and it was released with the dual-clutch option this year.

But even when you do manual shifting, you don't do manual clutching, that's the weird part! Check this out:

I guess the shifting is done with fingers from what I've read... weird.
