My (new to me) 05 cbr and how I came back to the 600 from a Ducati

Well, I have been a member here for about a year now and have been into the sportbike scene for about a year as well. I had been riding dirtbikes for about 7 years when I got my 09 600rr last fall. It was a great bike and I put about 10k miles on it. Then my boss got a 1000rr and I figured I'd try something new, so I bought an 08 Ducati 1098. Rode it for about 1000 miles and decided it wasnt for me for various reasons. Then I was able to snag this minty fresh 05 600rr for cheap and boy am I happy to be back on the 600. I missed the nimbleness and overall "fun factor" of the 600. Although it appeared to be perfect when I got it, I found a rusty inner gas tank. I then did a 3 step process and relined the tank, cleaned the fuel pump, changed the oil, flushed the coolant, bled the brakes, and totally rewired all of the lights and turn signals back to stock. Here are some photos:

Welcome back, I have both. My 1098S is an amazing street bike but the 600 rules the track.

I'm thinking about putting a scotts dampener on it like you have on your bike. How do you like it?
