i can't stand tree huggers. when i was working at toyota, prius owners would come in all the time bitching about getting 1-3mpg less than what was posted, or... this or that. Feckin tools man.
the way they produce the batteries for them is HORRIBLE for the environment. It's way worse than years pollution from that truck(and if it's diesel, it's now here near as bad as gas). Not to mention, you can't really dispose of the batteries all that easily. They're pretty toxic. Not good stuff.
On the other hand, my parents own a prius. They love the car. However, my dad also drives a low 11 second camaro with a 383 drinkin OJ(nitrous). Sooooooo.. not all prius owners get all crazy about saving the earth, or are douche bags. My parents don't ever yell at others, they let everyone do their own thing, and it's all gravy to them(you know, let the things that truly do not matter, slide). They just wanted good gas mileage for commuting. Kinda balance out the 12-13 highway mileage of the camaro with the 35-40 city mpg of the prius. lol
