If you look closely....around the burgundy line there is chameleon paint.(you can't really see in the pic, but in real life it looks awsome)

right now I wear the pharaoh one without the painted shield. It's back to normal clear. It doesn't look at cool but I can see better without the painted and that's important. I wish I knew how much it restricts my vision before I dropped $400 on the paint. Maybe I'll repaint it someday. for my girl's tinkerbell helmet she leaves the painted visor on all the time because she's a passenger

Here are a few.....
The NJ Devils helmet mimics their goalies helmet, paintjob by...me. The Doohan replica has custom colors that went with my 91 F2.

The black one was a design of mine that Tapeworks adopted. The bright straks are actually black retroreflective. During the day it looks like a black/carbon helmet. At night lightning bolts! The other is TeamPromotion colors of the same scheme. That's my track helmet.

smitty, first off i had bad vision. I don't wear glasses even though I should. Last month I got lasik correction. It takes 8-10weeks for my eyes to stabilize. anyways.. when I rode around town around the speed limits, it was fine. If I'm out riding agressive like in the twisties, I want to see the best I can. anyways once my eyes are fully corrected I will recheck the visor. My friend who has a tinted visor(i think it's 20% tint) says he can see better out of my painted visor than his.
BTW at night, It amplifies the darkness.

The guy who does my helmet is so awsome, I can't descibe it with words. so I'll post a bike he did. I saw it the international motorcycle show in baltimore, maryland. I recognized his work and found his signature on the bike. He does work all over the world. but he works out of his dirty garage. I know the quality isn't top notch because of file size but the attention to detail is unreal. the front faring's city scene is awsome. I think the paint cost $4,000-5,000.

that bike was done for a shop in Virginia. They specialize in custom work, rims, stereos and stuff like that. I think it's the owner's bike and he used it as a promotional tool.

When he was painting our helmets, it took him an extra 2 weeks because someone came to him and wanted their 'busa painted like the hulk for a calender shoot. this was right before the movie came out. It looked totally awesome with the hulk bustin out the side farings. It set would set you back $3,000
